Yes the current one is working perfectly fine. As for the AMD drivers games with super resolution have big black boarders like Crysis 1 and 2 also crash as well as Payday 2 , Far Cry 4 and even my web browser (chrome) when watching you tube videos (known issue)

i did rma it im using the new one as we speak and still have some issues the new one works as it should my current complaints with it are the drivers more than any thing. sorry if its not so clear i think there is some miscommunication

just for reference it was a B2 error and i did rma and i still get weird issues like playing crysis 1 or 2 and some other games its in a box and if i super sample it puts it in a box games crash more often i had to change the settings on my picture viewer as it tured all my pictures yellow allot of small but still annoying issues

Then the card was faulty when i got it and just died one random day after a week of use as i said these are things i read

I didnt do any thing to the card at all not even over clocking and it just stopped my pc from booting one day and that was after a hand full of boot locks and freezes

It just stopped my mother board from booting looked up the error code

so i bought a his r9-290 about 3 months ago and the bios on the card died about a week i got the new one in about 2 weeks ago and ive had alot of weird issues the card works and it works well but i was all around happier with the 650 ti and im thinking of trading it for a 960 getting opinions

im going to say my recent experience with a HIS r9-290 was less then pleasant as it died in less the 2 week and that doesn't seem to be all that uncommon but when it worked it worked really well i have had less issues with my nvidia card thats now back in my machine this shouldent discourage you from getting at as alot of people are happy with amd and a lot of people like them i just havent had good luck as of late

you should be fine with most any newish graphics card budget it going to be the factor as far as i can see

Now im not a red team or green team kinda guy but i just bought a r9-290 and it died in 2 weeks no overclocking and i got random lock up for the 2 weeks i had it i may have had a bad experience but when i get my refund i may just buy a 960 as i just like the software and my 650 ti has never failed me at 1080p just some food for thought

Ide like to know youre experience the 2 boards I've had from msi are still in solid use today on the other hand I have had bad experience with Asus as I have had to return 2 boards due to coil whineng under stock

There is a his 290 iceq x 2 for 250 on new egg I just bought it and as far as I can tell it's the best deal out there .
