An APU is a processor with graphics cores on the chip.. thats your average intel I series processor in a nutshell.. they may not call them APUs.. but that does not make any real diference in what they are.

i think that AMD prices are fine. i got my 280X for 381dollars a piece. and thats comparable to what nvidia charges for simular performance.
and in the long run the larger the consumption the higher the production. so we will probably se a price drop in a not so near future.
But yes. i am an asshole that i can not dispute.

You are absolutely correct about this being an investment. Some people seem to get the idea that you can just slap a couple 290s in your computer and be done. This couldn't be farther from the truth, large scale mining is a lot of hard work. I have spent countless late nights working out configuration problem, drivers crashing,  and attempting to get the most from my cards while maintaining stability. Then there is the heat and power consumption to deal with.           
 
I've done my research and concluded that you are a brainless troll that doesn't deserve the right to part of the PC master race. Go buy a console you dirty peasant. 

I hope to god something happens to the people that do this in every thread, it's really starting to get annoying opening things when people need help/opinions on things, and all they get is trolling/false answers to their questions.

pretty mutch any motherboard with pretty mutch any processor vill be fine.. dont go lower than an I3 or a FX 4000 series processor and you will be fine.

I did not intend for this thing to evolve into a fight..

The point of this thread was that i was confused that Displayport even have the necesary pins for VGA adaptation.
Anyone have any idea how this is done?

I bought it because i had a displayport out left in my graphics card and a VGA screen laying about in my apartment  that i wanted to use as an auxiliary display.

yupp been scratching my head about that the whole day.. i think ASUS might have dropped all support for the board when the formula z came around.

well the HDD does not even show upp in bios. (btw its a SSHD might be some vodo magic with that)
but it does show upp in my friends Intel 1150 platform.
