  1. I have 1 shortcut for the calculator on my F7 key. Apparently I use the calculator a lot....
  2. this happened to my other keyboard from Amazon before I got the Corsair and this happened to both of my custom PC. The Corsair was used on both PC, with the cheap Amazon keyboard being used only on my 1st PC
  3. so yeah, that's the problem I've been having for the past 6 years. It's not significant enough for me to really find a way to fix it but I've had enough of it. I'm done with this bs. THE ONLY FIX I can ever do when this happens is to restart my PC. Nothing else seems to work: unplugging USB and plug back in, mess around with Num Lock, etc. When this happens, the whole row works perfectly fine on literally everything else on my PC when I Alt+Tab out of the game, but NOT in game (any game). It happens maybe once or twice a week and never happen again for maybe months, and then it comes back again out of nowhere. This is on a custom PC with updated drivers and updated Windows. Keyboard is Corsair Strafe RGB. I really don't know where to even begin looking for a way to fix this bizarre problem. Please help!!! :( Sorry if I post this in the wrong place
  4. This is kinda weird to be honest. Basically the number keys on top work inside browser and word doc and all that but it doesn't work when I'm in a game or in the calculator. Sometimes it work and sometimes it just doesn't. I don't know what else I can say to explain my situation other than that. Any idea how to fix this? anything is much appreciated
  5. ***CLARIFICATION*** : in my case, I had to actually rerun the driver installation process. So basically you don't have to uninstall anything beforehand but after you swap the card some of the nvidia stuff seem to not be working right (resolution, audio) so all I gotta do is run the same driver file I first downloaded from NVIDIA driver download page. So yeah, keep that file in your download folder, just in case.
  6. all i need to know is the driver thing. But u actually put up the full answer and that's freaking awesome. I hope people who google this same question will see this post and see your answer haha
  7. So I have a 1080ti I want to put in my rig to replace the 1060. Do i have to uninstall anything or change anything before I do that? I know that I have to like turn off the pc and unplug the psu but what do I do before that? Thanks for helping!!!
  8. yeah my friend gave it to me so I wasn't gonna say no lol yeah that's what I wanted to know. It seems I have a good overhead but I'm not like an expert in this so I need more opinions
  9. I just got a new card from a good friend and I really want to use it. My monitor is 1080p ultrawide and I will be playing games as well as mining. The psu is Seasonic G550W 80+ gold. Will I run into any trouble? My total watt on PPP is 415W after i replace the 1060 3GB with the 1080ti.
  10. Thank you so much buddy. I fixed it. I just realized the AMD Catalyst whatever was messed up. Reinstalled the driver and everything is flawless now.
  11. So i should just reinstall my gpu's driver and see if that helps? Do I have to uninstall it first?
  12. Yes only my PC speakers show up. I plug it into the gpu hdmi. My gpu is the r9 280 (no x). I'm pretty sure this happens after a bunch of updates I received from Windows themselves and some of my apps on the pc due to the Wannacry ransomware. I restarted the pc after tons of updates and now it's like that.
  13. Can you please specify which driver is that? And how do I do that?
