Normalness

Hi there Guys & Gals. Anyone else experiencing problems with PIA? Little by little services are stopping working (Google Play & Amazon are the two biggies I’ve noticed). Battery drain is immense, I’m talking down to ±1/3 of normal (ie 12 hours as opposed to 24-36+, usage depending). Also speeds are about 1/10 of what they are without PIA turned on (±20Mbps compared with ±250 ordinarily). Is it just me? Biggest issue I have is support from them is pretty useless. I’m being told all manner of nonsense, basically that they have no clue and I should deal with it. Best proposed fix from them so far; turn off VPN! Love it. Other suggestions include disabling for problem apps (which doesn’t work by the way) and trying different setting (ports etc) until I find something that works.

So many people recommending office chairs and saying they're cheaper. I've taken to looking at "gaming" chairs as I started out looking for office chairs initially but found half decent ones to be much more expensive than I originally anticipated and 'good' ones to be insanely priced! Probably owing to the fact that corporates typically buy them en mass and 1) get discounts and 2) can absorb the inflated price. From what I've seen and in this part of the world, so called gaming chairs are considerably cheaper than an equivalent counterpart of the office variety. I'm a little torn now as I was hoping for some clear testament that the DX Racer or similar is worth it... oh well back to the drawing board I suppose and I'll continue sitting on my bar stool whilst I'm at it [emoji53]

Here's a stupid question, can you connect Noctua PWM fans to this little thing? I've just replaced all my fans with Noctua NF-A14PWMs (four of them - one for the NZXT Kraken X41 and the rest as case fans) so imagine my surprise/frustration when I realised that my case's neat fan header/controller has 3 pin connectors that won't fit the Noctuas! I've been looking for 3 pin female 4 pin male adapters, alas no luck so far (unless I'm looking for the wrong thing?). I'm hoping the Grid+ can solve my woes

Finally got around to ordering my system and have the 'lil' G3258 at its heart (for the time being). Sorry, I know it's a bit late now and no one is interested any more but I'm still excited First build I've done since moving country a few years ago and looking forward to having something a little more substantial and customisable than a laptop! Just paying this page a visit to check on the voltage settings...
