Sdgrty reacted to N7_Zer0 in Mechanical Keyboard Club!
It's in the manual it came with
Fn+Esc = reset color
Fn+Alt+Num_1-9 = save current color to memory
Left Win Key + Right Win Key (hold both for 3 sec) = reset to factory defaults

Sdgrty reacted to IdeaStormer in wisee: Whole House Gesture controls via a WiFi router!
What the ??
Forget Leap Motion & Myo & Kinect, just use a wireless router to control your computer! I can't wait for this to be let out so I can setup my own motion detector or computer gesture controller with just a freaking wifi router.
Ref: http://wisee.cs.washington.edu/
This seems like the simplest solution and has many more applications for us to tinker with!

Sdgrty reacted to SteepGnomeKing in NVIDIA's Project Shield Delayed Until July
As someone who was considering this before I found out mobile GPU's weren't supported, I'd rather wait an extra 2 weeks than receive a broken product that I have to send away than wait to get back again. Glad they caught it before it was to late.

Sdgrty got a reaction from ANIMAL_ORIGIN in For Those Looking For A Wireless Mechanical Keyboard
hi there...
haven't been posting in the forum... so here goes my first topic..
http://techkeys.us/collections/keyboards/products/kbtalking-pro-v1-1
so i was browsing around the internet for cool keycaps for the Ducky Shine 3 that i pre -ordered from my local computer store, and i ran into this website: www.techkeys.us
then i saw their only keyboard offering which is a bluetooth keyboard... the KBTalking Pro V1.1
You can go to the website if you want to see more pictures.
but they only come in red switches only which is great for those who like reds but i'm a blue switch guy so a no for me but switch modding isn't that hard..
here's a video link for those who want to change their switch types without de-soldering the switches:
*i hold no responsibility for any damages done to any keyboards*
-credits to the video creator not me-
so apparently this keyboard can connect to iOS and Android devices...
i would much prefer this if say a tablet is stood up on my desk and i want to type on it, rather than using the touchscreen, i can use this instead... but i think using this for a 4.7 inch smartphone would look ridiculous...
here are the specs;
Number of Keys: US ANSI 108 Keyboard
Type: Mechanical Keyswitches
Top quality Plate Mounted Cherry MX Red, Blue, or Brown keyswitches
Keycaps: Black on Black Keycaps (Limited edition) – Laser Engraved Black Characters on Black ABS Plastic (UV Coated)
Circuit Board (PCB): Dual-layer circuit board for ultimate durability and solder strength, virtually eliminating loose keyswitch problems Interface USB / Bluetooth 3.0
Anti-ghosting: 6-key simultaneous input in any combination without conflict/interference (Tested in both USB & Bluetooth mode)
Exclusive Technology Multi-Pairing Bluetooth (10 devices) with switchable USB connection Power source Either USB-powered if connected to PC/Mac or battery powered (2 x AA) if all devices have Bluetooth HID support.
Battery life Approximately 1000+ hours. (3 hours/day x 365 days)
Included Accessories: Mobile device stand (collapsible), Mac style keycaps w/keycap puller, USB cable, user guide
so battery wise is quite sufficient with 1000+ hours..
so that was my take on this keyboard.. what opinions do you guys have?
also what do you think of these keycaps i'm getting for my Ducky Shine 3? it's the one in Slick's Ducky cover at Computex (http://techkeys.us/collections/artisan/products/sixshooters-w-the-ancient)
