Day 36 - Oh right forgot to add this. But before I even started the gluing of the outer legs, I had to put the razer logo's on! So I took the 4 bolts and put them in through the back, the put the washer's on, then the acrylic, then the metal logo's! It wasn't simple at all like that. I ended up having to make the holes in the acrylic bigger, then had to grind down the bolt's multiple times so they wouldn't ground out on the inner of the metal logo before everything was tight, and then I had to make sure everything was lined up properly and tight. My biggest biggest regret of this desk was the way I put these logo's on. Ill get more into next update but I should have made it so I could have taken them off and one while the desk was put together. For anyone who is making a desk like this with logo's on the outside, I can't stress enough how much of a pain in the rear end it was. But enough of me, picture time!

Yes, Coil whine doesn't cause any damage, it's just annoying. 

As everyone has said it basically stacks up as follows:
 
iRacing - sacrifices a lot of eye candy for realistic physics and a hardcore community. Also involves a subscription service - it should not be your first racing sim*;
Assetto Corsa - This is the "goldilocks" game as the physics are top notch, the feedback is great and it looks much better than iRacing;
ProjectCARS - All about dat eye candy yo! The general physics are spongey but I found the force feedback through a wheel good enough to really enjoy the game.
 
I own AC and PC and purely due to the fact more of my friends own PC has meant I played more of that than AC. And PC really does look gorgeous.
 
 
*I use the term sim to cover all 3 games even though purists consider ProjectCARS to be an arcade style racer.

I debated in the workshop before cutting the sheet and decided the White ship matched the overall theme best. My friend, Brad Galvin has been a huge mentor in teaching me custom paint techniques. I spent Thursday in his paint shop masking off the templates for right side panel and PSU shroud. The Enterprise NC-1701 font was found online and we used Brad's Roland Vinyl plotter to cut everything. We colored matched the two tone Blue LCARS style color bars to my concept drawing.

Next stage is applying the Enterprise decal, then clear coating the panels. The Enterprise decal saved a lot of time versus making a stencil to airbrush by hand. It was printed with UV ink, and requires an enamel clear coat to seal it first with 24 hr cure time, before you apply Automotive Urethane clear.

If that's enough to kill a CPU, then all my CPUs are dead. I never ground myself while working on my computers for the last 10 years and I've yet to kill a single item.

You left off so many resolutions, most notably 1366x768, 1280x1024, and 1680x1050.

Mine was a Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, it's super gaudy and heavy as fuck.

W8 only supports x86 and x64 architectures, ARM is a completely different architecture.

Would just like to point out some nature facts to help when deciding which gif to use.
 
This is a Wood Duck. Wood ducks are tree nesting species that look for holes to build their nest (or boxes). When the  young are old enough to finally be fledged, they must take this flying leap of faith out of the box and land on their down covered bellies to kind of "bounce" if you will. This bounce is so crucial to the birds survival  because its believed by scientist that it breaks a certain enzyme into their body that encourages it to feed or find food in order to survive. Without this drop, their feeding instincts seem to take longer to kick in and the  bird may surely die.
 
So if this is Verizon, they are simply learning to feed to survive. Irony.

IIRC all I've ever said is "our content will always be free". And it is. You just need to wait a week, which doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
