Well I used one for a itx htpc build with 4 40mm scythe fans in PnP and it rocked the cooling! The rad fit snugg in the place for the barebone psu and it's all powered by a pico psu. IF I have the time I'll post it herre on the Forums during the holidays. -

well it's made for optimal Airflow, that dosent need to be just AIR, You get the space for WC so why not go for it if possible?

Case Upgrade, Won a 540 Air, so why not USE it

yeah, might be a tad of Product placement if I would ha been sponsered by any of all these brands. haha -
So I won a Corsair Carbide 540 Air case, and why not use it =D I made a Fast DiyCase just to have my components not laying on the Desk and now I just moved all my stuff in to the 540 Air. Here comes the Build log, nothing fancy just pics and some small descriptions. Text be added later the next day ;D,... Pic's taken with a Samsung n7000 mobile so pls dont Hate on me Box has Landed on the TV-room Table. Cut cut cut. Something Black. More Black, must say it feels premium with these cloth-bags. Tada, it's a Black Cloth-bag hehe. Window shopping,.. Backside of the Moon. Not much to see here. Frontside, clean Inside it's Guts Gutted Stripped Naked. Stripped Naked part 2. Topside Hole. PSU with changed Fan and HDDs Mounted the Black ones. Inside the Black cloth-bag. MB and Fans installed, CPU not cleaned. CPU cleaned and Timed. Swiftech H220 installed. The snakepit and Green HDD mounted in 5,25 Some cablemanagment later, Tidy and clean. GPU installed and that's it for now and to be Continiued when its been moved up to the Office,...

SO I got this Swiftech 8-Way PWM splitter with my Swiftech H220 and was wondering if I could solder a Resistor to the +12v (yellow) wire as You do with +12v->+5v adaptors so the Splitter just use +5v? cause I dont have any PWM-Fans in my Build, I "only" have 7 GT AP-15s and just 2 +5v Adaptors. So basicaly I'm asking if it would work as a 8way +5v Splitter. I dont care about the PWM-funtion Been 10years since I did something like this in my Job so rusty as hell on the mathematics behind Ohm's Law My Idea =
