Synyster reacted to Zeruel in Competitive Halo - MLG, PGL, UGC
Look who I found!
Im still hoping Halo gets on the PC natively...
Then again also these PC would probably laugh if they experienced what you and I have been experiencing for the past 3 months with MCC and Halo 5.

Synyster got a reaction from Fred Castellum in What song are you listening to right now.
Been loving this since it came out. Happy to see Wolfgang still producing.
New Knife Party - if you don't follow beatport closely and or DJ's / producers, this song might not be as funny as you think it is.

It's funny you say MLG killed the playlist because everyone claiming to be MLG yet you're pretty much doing that now. I don't know how many times I've seen people think they can hang with pro's or even amateurs, top 32-17, and they really can't. I had my fair share of encounters with pro's and ams over the years and while I thought I could hang with them back in the day, I was dead wrong.
In terms of you thinking the team made a bad play, 99 out of 100 times, they most likely made the correct play or the other team happen to push perfectly. If you find the game and instance you're talking about, I'd be more than happy to break it down for you.

Oh man, those aren't Halo.
A lot of people claim that No Bloom No Sprint on Reach is some of the best Halo you can play, but I disagree. 1, 2, or 3 are the only options if you want a true Halo experience.
Yeah, MLG has gone quite down hill since dropping Halo; it's a shame.

@Tygron
No worries dude.
You also need to realize that it's not necessarily the MLG community and it's more the of XBL community. Halo introduced a lot of freedom and security at the same time to allow people to do and say whatever they want. Trash talk and competition is the reason that Halo became so popular in the first place. Trash talk was half the battle, backing it up was the other half.

Yes, indeed, they are.
Believe me, I've contemplated that as well, but I moved away from 16:10 awhile go because I just prefer 16:9 as its great for watching back my rendered projects as I can view them in fullscreen with no black bars at all. Plus I just feel as though I wanna move up to the 1440p resolution. But thanks for the advice anyway.
You make a good point, I do prefer multitasking with two separate displays.
I think, through your reasoning, I'm going to stick with the two BenQ GW2765HT monitors. I think it's the best option . Thanks for your help in my decision making. I'm quite grateful.

It's fantastic! I'm extremely happy I purchased two instead of one now and another later. The gap between the two is maybe a little above half and inch?

I made a thread a week ago with a challenge to find a better monitor than the Dell U2412M, here.
The winner was the U2414H and I just got them today, so, I set them up and show anyone whose interested in them as well as answering questions or concerns they have - hopefully I can answer the question.
Ask away fellow techies.
Sorry for the dim lighting - it was flash or no flash.

Yeah dude, might take a couple days, but I'll do it.
Shiiit, 3 would be too much for me, ha.
I haven't calibrated anything or changed the settings on anything yet. What you're seeing is a Paper mode at 75 brightness, 75 contrast. The vibrant-ness of the colors change with each setting, but yeah, there is a slight color notice in the white and gray's. It's not much though.

This is what the entire set looks like. I'm currently only using the desk with the keyboard pull out.

The left is Paper Mode the right is Game Mode on the presets.
So far the biggest complaint I have is the incredible annoying buttons to use the menu. Touch sensitive and they hardly register a touch. Thankfully I hardly need to use them.
That's quite a drastic change. Looks much better now.

@Synyster
How is it for gaming? Like what games did you play so far, any noticeable blurring etc.?
I'm consider this one against the cheaper but otherwise almost similarly specced Asus VX239H.
Not sure if it's worth the extra 40 EUR and the 8ms GTG is kind of concerning.
It does look really nice, sweet setup!

Portrait Mode... how are those vertical viewing angles?
Also... once you go glass desk, you never go back, amirite?

I can't help but notice that the colour on those monitors looks kinda weird. The whites are quite yellow and the greys quite blueish. Is that how it is in person or is that just your rooms lighting conditions or camera?

That'll be a couple years down the line, by then something better will probably be out though, so I'll stick to 1 for now
I can't get over how nice that desk it.

Might go for Dell U2414H instead of Asus VN247H's for my tri-monitor setup
