  1. (Deleted my previous post, really bad at this on mobile ) So I want them all connected as separate displays but I will only be gaming on my PG279Q, I am looking to use the new monitors as secondary displays for photo viewing and general purpose use, just trying to find the sharpest displays possible. Definitely not trying to game on all of them!
  2. I’m looking to only be gaming on my 279Q, the other two would still be used as secondary displays, just looking to have as sharp a screen as possible on them which is what gravitated me towards the 4K HDR units. Definitely not going to try and game on all three, happy with my current one for that.
  3. Hey LTT. I haven't been very active here lately but this is always my go to when I am unable to find the answer to my question. I currently have a PG279Q (1440p/165Hz) and a pair of U2414H's on either side (1080p/60Hz) I am trying to find what the max I can do for upgrades on those two 1080p monitors is. I want to do 2 of the 4K Dell's with HDR but I don't believe my card can handle this resolution. Is someone able to help me understand what the maximum I can do is and maybe make some suggestions on monitors? I am hoping to both increase the size and resolution of my secondary monitors. Any help appreciated guys and gals!
  4. Has anyone purchased any of these before? They seem great but I was hoping to see if anyone here had purchased/used them and could attest to them one way or the other, debating these as a Christmas gift for my dad and might even snag a set myself. I know this isn't a car forum hence the "off topic" but I figured I'd ask.. Thoughts? VLED's
  5. Using a K95 Platinum currently and I really enjoy it, I use the model with the Speed switches and can definitely recommend it!
  6. Embarrassingly, I’m not familiar with what J batch means.. ?
  7. I have 4 Noctua 140mm iPPC's and 1 Corsair ML120 in white on my GPU radiator, if I were to go with the ram add on, I would want to remove the current set entirely and try to get a set of 3000MHz 4x8's and get the XMP Profile to behave. What route could I go as far as better networking gear? Currently have a consumer grade wireless router from TP-Link, Its an AC2300 but I cannot recall the exact model right now.
  8. Those are some solid comparisons, I think I would be leaning on the Intel Platform if I went that route, though the cost of those chips is up there. Would the 7820X do me any good?
  9. Hey LTT, Been getting the itch to upgrade my machine or do a system rebuild or something, you know how it is. My current specs are as follows: CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i Motherboard MSI X99A Gaming Pro Carbon Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3200MHz C16 (Though I cannot get it to run at 3200, funny set of errors when I try so for now 2133) Storage: Samsung 850 Pro 1TB GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX PSU: EVGA 1200 P2 I'm really mostly looking to get a new board and chip if I upgrade and perhaps an SSD, was eyeballing the Intel Optane 900P's. Does anyone have any thoughts? I mostly game so my video card is pretty much as good as I can get it for now. I like having a processor capable of handling lots while also keeping my per core performance as high as I can. What can you suggest? A new build is not out of the question but I want to make sure I get a real upgrade if I do.
  10. Just put these on the list, seem really nice. Do you have any experience with them?
  11. Aside from the DT 990's, do you have any other suggestions? Open to options on this one
  12. Personally I have always rolled my CPU Radiator on the top, exhausting the air out the top with Cooler air being brought in the front. I don't typically like to put radiators in the front since this /can/ raise temperatures inside the case which would cause things such as GPU temperatures to rise.
  13. Hey everyone. I currently have some Sennheiser HD 558's I've been using for about a year-year and half now. I use these with a Creative Sound Blaster Z for my Sound Card, I know it's not a dedicated setup but its an up from onboard. Primarily I use them to listen to music, play games, and talk to friends. I am finding that these headphones are a little lackluster in the Bass department. I do enjoy the Open-back features on all fronts except that my dog barking completely breaks immersion, which is whatever. I have been looking at the Beyerdynamic DT-880 Premium (don't want the coiled cable on the pro). Is this a step in the right direction for me? Any other suggestions anyone can make? I am willing to spend I think up to $300 as far as Budget goes for these.
  14. Title pretty much says it all, super confused. I just purchased a 960 Evo 500GB and installed it into the M.2 slot on my Rampage V Extreme. I performed the Data Migration from my 1TB 850 Pro successfully and Windows can see the 2 drives, but when in the BIOS, it only sees the 850 Pro and the 960 Evo is no where to be seen. Is anyone familiar with why this is happening or able to help me solve it?
  15. I own 4 of the NF-A14 iPPC 2000 IP67's and they perform really well but as it was mentioned above, the acoustics are less than desirable and I am currently looking for a suitable replacement for the front 2 intakes. Just my two cents on those.
