I had to re-install my nvidia drivers once. After the update the fps in Victor Vran went down to 70 from 144. Re-installing fixed this issue. GeForce Experience still feels a bit slow but works. I guess an update will fix this soon.

Bought the controller out of curiosity. Dunno if it'll actually work out. I don't expect it to be a replacment for my beloved 360 pad. I take the controller as an addition to the family. Time will tell. If you're interested, I wouldn't trust early reviews. Especially from consumers like steam review. I guess a lot of people will start a shooter, get wrecked hard and start to complain horribly... It'll take time until you're familiar with the new controls.

I picked up Sherlock Holmes Crimes and punishment in the summer sale and I'm really enjoying it.

Wow, I can't say I have performance issues... but man, this game looks bad. I cranked everything up to maximum but this game looks just awful. I really can't believe what I see there. The older titles looked so much better. What a shame.

Can't be bothered with another Assassins Creed. The franchise is dead to me since several titles.

It does, but I still think it's a damn beautiful game. I'd have prefered that they delayed the PC version like Rockstar did with GTA and give us later down the road a perfect version. Nevertheless I played like ten hours so far and there were a lot of moments where I just stood there and enjoyed the beauty of the game. Therefor I don't understand all the drama. They delivered a great product with a gread business model and do not deserve all this shit.

It's playable. You only have to wait a bit when you pre-loaded a game. Once it is unlocked Steam has to sort some stuff out before you can start it.

Are you sure that all mods are uninstalled correctly? The game tells you in the main menu (after loading game and signing into world of trucks) on the buttom if the game is still modded. Or maybe a mod tampered with the map files. If you have the steam version try to validate the game files. Another way to fix it that comes to my mind is simply to reinstall the game. Your save files are usually under C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2.
