  1. I'm looking at getting a mechanical keyboard. I'm pretty sure that I want MX Blues and am right now trying to decide between the twokeyboards listed in the title, the Das Keyboard 4C Professional and the CM Storm Quickfire Tk. However, I have entirely no experience in Mech keyboards and so don't know what really are the good ones and which ones to avoid (other than Razer.) I can the two of them for the same price, that's why I'm comparing them. From what I've heard Das Keyboard makes incredible keyboards and they looks very nice, but I have a friend who highly recommends the Quickfire Tk. Plus the Quickfire features a numpad and backlighting. Any ideas?
  2. I'd like to win the FinalMouse Mouse because I'm new to the gaming scene, especially at the competitive level, and would like to try out as many different mice as I can, so I get to understand what different mouse designs and styles are like and what the various components are like.
  3. Yeah, just figured that out and edited my post. I don't really care about the "Sniper button" thing - kinda bad IMO for muscle memory & CS:GO in general. Plus, the M45 has a red LED and my system, although it lacks a side-panel, is a black/blue theme. Ah. I see. I really can't spend $61 on a mouse, plus $8 or more on a mouse pad, so the G502 is out. The Mionix has the forward/back buttons for that functionality if need be. Basically, any mouse is going to be an upgrade. If I can get a mouse that is normal $80 and has good reviews pretty much everywhere for $45, it's better than what I have now and I'm going to do that.
  4. Currently, I'm going to get the Mionix. It lacks the wheel side-scrolling, but so does the G402 and the M45 (G502 is out for price, since I'll also need a mousepad) - so all of the competitors are down a notch for that. I like the design, and all the reviews I've seen on it seem to say it's a good mouse. And, it's only $45.36. Just a simple question, not something that will affect my decision, does anyone know the return policy for Massdrop? Can you even (seems like you wouldn't.)
  5. I'm really torn. I do like the look and price of the Mionix on Massdrop, but the M45 and G502 are also good looking mice. I've dropped the G402 from my list because it's missing the side scroll, something I really do want. Not sure if you know if any of the the above (Naos 7000, M45, G502) lack that too...
  6. I see. I will definitely read over that - thanks for pointing it out. Okay. I'm currently bouncing between the G502 (dislike the price tag), G402, and the M45. In your opinion, which is the best choice? I still really like the look and design of the Mionix - is it just poor materials or are there design flaws that would make it break?
  7. Well, I'll definitely look into it. It's a bit more than I'd want to spend (I'd prefer to stay to the $30-$45 spectrum) and I'm not entirely sold on the design, but it does seem to come highly recommended. Would there be any reason for me to choose the G502 over the G402? When you say QC issues, what do you mean exactly?
  8. Thanks, I'd never been entirely sure which grip I was - those pictures helped. I think I have a finger-tip grip (or maybe a hybrid finger-tip/palm grip). As for hand size, I definitely do not have large hands. That said, they aren't china doll ones either, so I've probably got medium-ish hands. Not really sure what to compare that against. Buttons on the side really aren't terribly important. I wouldn't mind having the forward/back buttons and maybe 2/3 extra ones - but I don't game terribly often and when I do it tends to be FPSes as opposed to games like LoL or Torchlight 2 - so side buttons aren't a must. Awesome. I'll look into the Massdrop, do you know if it's a good mouse (personal experience?) I definitely prefer the look of the Mionix over the G402/G502. Also, thanks for the list. This is really what I needed - a list of a bunch of mice that are good and decently priced that I can take and work through.
  9. Is there a difference (other than esthetics & $20 price difference) between the G402 & G400s? Is one more optimized for a game type than the other? I personally prefer the design of the G402 over the G400s... What bells and whistles would you be referring to? Basically, all I need is a mouse that can be used to precisely position for better aiming & precise movement that's under $60. If it's a difference in sensor or switches, I'd consider the upgrade from 402 to 502, but I'm curious as to what the difference is.
  10. I'm fairly new to the PC gaming scene, at least to games that require some level of precision (CS:GO, TF2, Torchlight 2, LoL) and currently have a Logitech M305 wireless mouse. It's been great...but it's not a gaming mouse and I'm really seeing the need for a better mouse. However, I've never really looked into mice before and don't know a whole lot about what's good & what's not. Basically, all I know is that Omron (is that right?) switches are the good ones, optical is better than laser, and that Logitech makes really good mice. There are a few names I recognize or have looked into getting, but I, again, don't know for sure what would be best for the price. A couple of mice I've looked at include the Logitech G502, G402, eBlue Mazer II (cheaper, but seems to have good reviews,) and the Corsair M60, M65, M90. I mostly play CS:GO, but enjoy the occasional game of LoL or some Torchlight 2, so multiple buttons doesn't hurt. The biggest thing in my case would be best quality for the money. I'd prefer to keep the price closer to the $30-$40 part of my $30-$60 spectrum, but I'd be willing to pay more if there is really a big performance increase. Basically, I'm a n00b when it comes to mice, want to play games that require precision (and thus higher DPI/CPI on the mouse), and don't want to spend more than $60 on the mouse. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  11. This is awesome! Thanks for doing this guys! Can't wait to see who wins As always, keep up the good work!
