  1. Urgh, really? That just makes me sad Do you know how much more it wuld cost to build one myself? I have built my current PC, the problem isonly that I am unsure of how much power is necessary!
  2. Hi! I am in need for a NAS able to stream to a TV (LG 55LW550W) via HDMI/DLNA on a 100/100 internet. The router sits ~1m away from the TV, so range and speed isn't any problem! I found this NAS (AS202TE), however, I am unable to figure out if it can transcode and stream "heavy" videos (1080p, h264, .MKV/.MOV, namedropping), as well as stored images, to the TV . Do you have any other, better, suggestions for choice of NAS? (Synology doesn't seem to have the horsepower for streaming and transcoding). Thanks in advance, Will
  3. Awesome work guys! I thought I'd add some more: A super thin Wacom Intous Pro A foldable mechanical keyboard (haven't really figured out how this would work yet )
  4. Hi! Just for fun, type things that you would want to see in the tech market! For example, I'd like A monitor with hardware of XL2420TE and the looks of an iMac Noctuas with the looks of Corsair fans/greyscale/black A m-itx Z77 board that is as good (or better) than the Asus P8Z77I-Deluxe, but black/sabertooth looks. Let's get the ball rolling, I would love to see what people miss, it's quite interesting! Hopefully, if the thread grows, we can get some manufacturers to take a look and maybe respond to the feedback! (High hopes? Naaahhh...) //Will

    Razer Toaster

Well.. It's news. And it's kind of tech... I mean, there is some technology involved in toasters, right?

    Razer Toaster

Hey! On a Razer facebook image "Mark Withers" posted a comment reading: I just got this idea, where you could like, make it so that it burns WASD keys into your toast. Or the Razer Logo... https://www.facebook.com/RazerToatsterPlease Min-Liang (CEO of Razer) responded with: You get a million likes on your page I'll make you a fuckin' Razer toaster. See it for yourself here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=577623685628751&set=a.116842955040162.11402.113306788727112&type=1&comment_id=1804608&offset=0&total_comments=57 Here's the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RazerToatsterPlease Personally I really admire Min-Liang being so personal on social media! Go ahead, like the page!
  7. I have decided to pick the XPS 12 Haswell (i7 4550U and 12.5" 1080p)! Fits my movie watching and web-designer needs very well!
  8. Awesome!! Thanks a lot! I hate buying a product only to find that a new, improved product is released a month later (Who doesn't...)
  9. Thanks for replies! Yeah, the Samsung Series 7 looks really promising! The 1600x900 res in The Thinkpad is too low for me, thanks for the suggestion though! Are there any rumors on upcoming Haswell laptops that seem promising? I can't seem to find much besides the Samsung Ativ Ultrabook Pro...
  10. Hi! I am Will, a 16yo Front end developer/Gamer! After my old laptop broke down I am looking for a replacement. It was a pretty cheap laptop from MSI, to be precise the C620, with Intel HD graphics and a low-end i5 processor, 1st gen. A few qualities I am looking for in my soon-to-be new computer are the following: (13.3" or 15.6", but I would prefer the smaller one..) Lightweight - My old laptop was on the heavy side with it's 2.5kg. Not very good for carrying to and from school & work. Thin - I guess lightweight laptops usually are thin, but one can never be clear enough when speicifying on a forum I need it to fit easily in my bag without taking up too much space. 6GB RAM(or more) - 4GB just doesnt do it. I surf, run a development server, photoshop, IDE and more at the same time and need to have lots of ram. Battery life - 3h or more productive use. School or trips, i usually find myself in cases where i run out of power! But i won't need +4h, not that it is a bad thing to have more.. Processing power - i7 or maybe i5, but I do not want to find myself in need for an upgrade in a year... I tend to play some games on the computer, even though I have a beast desktop at home! I need to process photographs and such. SSD space - I do not have a problem with buying a separate SSD and putting it in myself to get more storage, as long as there is space for it! Resolution - 1920x1080p AT LEAST. This is part reason why I wanted the Samsung Ativ Premium Ultrabook lalal with 3200x1800, although that might be a bit of an overkill... And I've heard that they will only release a 128GB SSD/4GB RAM version in Sweden where I live. Price - Everything is more expensive in sweden, and I do want the swedish keyboard layout. About 1.5k dollars is max. If you find any laptop that you think might meet these criterias, I would be so happy! Should I wait for incoming Haswell series? Honestly I do not think I will need more graphics than the one included in a i7 Mobile processor. Laptops I have found yet: Asus Zenbook UX32VD-R4013H - Seems like a good laptop. i would replace the SSD, and MAYBE toss out the HDD if it is heavy and loud, although a extra 500GB won't hurt... Samsung 9 series - Seems a bit low on the ram. Once again, Thank you! Best regards, Will
  11. Hi! GREAT build! I am deeply inspired! I have a few questions before running off and buying parts for a (very) similar build! ;) What fittings are you using? What dimensions are your tubes? Did you screw the Easy and Hard bench together, or was there any other way you stuck them together? Hoping for a reply, thank you!
