  1. Food challenge winner: Chase Haddleton Winning photo: Congrats!
  2. Check out this: http://www.ma-config.com/en It works for me most of the time even on extremely old hardware, like DDR1 era old.
  3. Night challenge winner: bob345 The photo: Congrats!
  4. Windows.old has files from your previous windows install, check if you need to save anything from there (personal) otherwise afaik there's no reason to keep it.
  5. The new challenge is: food Chosen by StormtrooperStu Post your entries till: August 6th

  7. Drivers of card that old might be not working correctly and causing crashes, though I doubt that it can cause high cpu usage, but you can expect everything from bad drivers (maybe the gpu is broken? ) I would recommend getting a low end gpu till you can upgrade, you can get AMD HD 5450 ~30USD new.
  8. Abstract challenge has ended. Current challenge is: Night (chosen by: Nineshadow) Submit your entries till: July 20th These are the submitted photos for abstract:
  9. Sorry those links I posted don't work when linked directly, you can also try this: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool
  10. These are direct links for download from official AMD website: Windows 8.1 64bit: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/amd-catalyst-omega-14.12-with-dotnet45-win8.1-64bit.exe Windows 8 64bit: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/amd-catalyst-14.4-64bit-win8.1-win8-win7-whql-aug.exe Those are the latest drivers
  11. What windows do you have? 7/8 and 64bit or 32bit
  12. Then you can install the os from the external dvd drive. Pretty much all computers support it, some old motherboards from like <2004 might not support it but you're building new so it's going to work
  13. Just use a USB flash drive and something like Rufus, no need to get an external dvd drive, unless you're going to use it for something more than installing the os
  14. I don't use DaVinci Resolve but you could try using windows scaling settings, maybe it will help.
