    Hello everyone!

I thouhgt I understand water cooling systems, but lately I have been thinking about it, and I got some stupid questions, which one of these is the best? Does all of them even exist? How are they called? Thank you for your answers in advance )

    1. Negative air pressure (fans in pull): Fans run in extraction mode to pull air out of the case as fast as possible. Dust infiltration will be a problem, as every single crew hole, crack, joint, and coupling will be an entry point for dust. Additionally, this type of cooling requires work to be done to prevent 'air cycling'. Air cycling happens when air is shot out of an exhaust, hits a wall, or other surface, and re-enters through the intake fans. Air cycling will dramatically lessen the cooling performance of this solution.

    2. Positive air pressure setup (fans in push). If a radiator is mounted in the front or top (rather than just fans with no radiator) then case temperatures will be slightly warmer. If you water cool your CPU but not your video card, your video card may run 1-3C warmer. Dust infiltration will not be a problem in this configuration, assuming all intakes have dust filters which are regularly cleaned, as the internal over pressure in the case will cause the excess air to want to leave through every nook and crack it can find.
*Special note: If you have too much over pressure, it will become audible, in the form of both fan-feedback, and possible whistling from case air exists. Fan-feedback sounds just like what happens if you hold a pizza box in front of a box fan, that loud buzzing sound as the air cavitates on the blade surfaces due to compression shock. If you have an over pressure, reduce intake fan RPM or increase available exhaust surface area.

    3. and 4. are simply the push/pull reverse scenarios of 1 and 2.

Push vs Pull has been gone over many times, but here is the summary:
So long as your fans have enough static pressure there is no cooling advantage to push vs pull. Push/Pull is a waste unless you are using fans with insufficient static pressure, in which case push/pull helps reduce the static pressure needed to effectively use the radiator by using the radiator as a stator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axial_compressor ; technically the radiator is not axial, the net-result physics are largely unchanged in spite of this) Those 'bars' you see on the back of the NF-F12 fans that aren't on the other NF-X12 fans Noctua makes? Those are stators, they are the secret to why the NF-F12s have so much more static pressure than the other fans Noctua makes (within the 120mm category) Assuming that you have dust filtration BEFORE the radiator or any fans dust buildup won't be a very big problem. #3 said, running your fans in pull will make them much easier to clean, and much less prone to dust buildup. Even with dust filters, dust will build up and in pull you can simply take a compressed air can or air compressor and blow through the radiator to clean the dust out. In a push configuration you have to take the fan off the radiator before you can blow out any dust. The reason removal is needed is that the dust cakes in the deadzones behind the hardened plastic parts of the fan, so blowing air on the dust basically just wedges it between an unstoppable force (the fan) and an immovable object (the radiator). Cheers.

    1 and let me explain.

you want to get hot air out as fast as possible. you will inadvertently suck in cool air through cracks and open grills. second, you want fans in a pull config so you can blow the dust off the rad more easily. which means you dont have to pull the fans off to dust off the rad.

1 or 4 are the best depends if you want more cool air pulled in or more hot air thrown out

the fourth one is the best because you should not blow hot air on the whole rest of the system

and if the fans are nice I want to see them fans

but if the fans are noctua then stick them in the top like the first one

Yes, if he has a Crossfire compatible board and wants to crossfire 270s (I'm giving the option, though I wouldn't recommend it) a CX600 or something would be better.

Unless you're a basshead, I wouldn't recommend them because they have a very bassy sound signature. Plus, they have a bit of sibilance, and hissing depending on the device you plug them into. They're very sensitive and have a low impedance. If you want something good across the board, I recommend HiFiMAN RE0s. Klipsch S4s just aren't that great. They'll do the job, but you can do better. Suffice it to say, they aren't popular just because people decided they should be.

RE0s might sound too analytical. You might want to consider HiFiMAN RE400s if you want a neutral sound signature with a hint of warmth. They aren't too boring to listen to but they sound excellent.

There are plenty of options. If you want to listen to music outside of the house, you'll want to pick something that has a good soundstage without sacrificing noise isolation. Positional cues are better perceived from larger headphones (generally speaking), but IEMs could work as well. I suggest buying Creative Aurvana Live! headphones if you need something to take out and about and for gaming, but their sound isolation is poor. Sennheiser HD 439 and Sony MDR-V6 are good at all of the above (but the V6s are really neutral-sounding, so if you prefer a sound signature leaning towards bass, mids, treble, and such, I don't recommend them). If I'm misinterpreting you and you want IEMs for gaming, HiFiMAN RE0s are good, but they're not so great for listening to music.
