  1. Pretty much figured it out, swapped mobo w/ a friend and it worked so now just waiting on asrock or newegg to send me an rma form
  2. I5-4460 is probably your best option for cheap and reliable
  3. I just tested out rendering some videos, because I also do video editing on my pc, and can rule out the games being at fault because it shut down about 2 min into the render. I'll try switching out the mobo sometime this weekend and seeing if that works
  4. Its not the gpu because i tried swapping it out with my friend and it works fine when he uses mine, but mine still shuts down with a different card inside
  5. Sent in the PSU last week and just got the replacement in the mail. Put it in and still having issues.
  6. I have reapplied thermal paste and made sure everything was secure, but I will check to see if the mobo is bending
  7. What would be overheating? And how would you recommend I fix it?
  8. About a month ago i had my computer built and everything seemed to running pretty smoothly. Whenever I would put it under load, (gaming/rendering videos), it would be completely fine. Just a few days ago I installed a Hyper 212 Evo and now whenever my computer is put under load it shuts down within 5-10 min. Nothing is overheating because my CPU temps are about 45c-50c when gaming and gpu temps are about 65c-70c. I can browse internet just fine and play simple games like Minecraft or Hearthstone, but when I play something that requires my computer to be pushed slightly it will shut down after about 5 min of gameplay. Im not sure whether this is a PSU thing or what, but if anyone has a suggestion on what I could do that would be much appreciated.
