  1. After watching the latest video (where Linus tries to repair 10k CPU he dropped) I can but wonder, why don't they just install soft mats all around the main build spaces? Like, just put em on the floor around the table, so stuff doesn't break on concrete if it falls down. Could get thin yet soft mat like this, would prevent so much potential damage (this one specifically is 3/8 inch):
  2. Is that CPU overclockable? Because I usually overclock CPU as much as possible without compromising performance or overheating, so just wondering if its possible to speed that one up a bit.
  3. Hi all. So, I decided to upgrade my PC so it could run some modern games at higher settings, also so I could use it for youtube/streaming, so rendering tasks are also to be kept in mind. My current configuration: AMD A10-5800k 8GB DDR3 2133 Mhz Gigabyte G1 Killer Motherboard AMD R9 280x Cooler Master 750W PSU Cooler Master Hyper 103 CPU cooler I suspect my CPU is bottlenecking the GPU quite hard, I've seen similar builds with different CPU running games way better. So I ask your advice: how should I upgrade this PC? Would be quite good to switch to Intel though, AMD cpu's kinda fail, even though this particular one was very good for the money. I am not sure about the budget, would be cool to upgrade for as little as possible, but the max roof would probably be around 400 euro (about 450 USD). Thanks in advance. P.S. Country is Lithuania, if that helps
  4. Would be amazing to upgrade my peripherals, because right now I'm sitting with some cheap chinese mouse and keyboard combo from like 6 years ago, also Phillips SHP1900 headphones.
  5. With Nvidia releasing 900's, I gotta admit, I became quite a fan of Nvidia. For the last few years I've been all into AMD, as their price/power ratio usually was better in my country, but 900ies really hit that sweet spot imo. All of em are extremely cool cards, available at quite low prices considering their performance I'd say. And with the beastly looks they just make the best choice for anyone building med-high PC with average investments. Kudos to Nvidia P.S. The GTX970 AMP! Extreme looks just sub-zero cool
