  1. I got RGB strips and the spire led from thr r7 1700 but when I use the asrock software for the ab350 pro4 the colors are way off. For example when I select the following: red = it displays purples no colors = it displays blue yellow = it displays "white" green = it displays cyan Strobe (multi colors) = it only displays blue and teal I tried switching the connector on the motherboard but it displays no colors... IDK if its broken or what not but all the RGBs are workign since I can get both purple and teal fine.. AB350 PRO 4
  2. Does it have to be microatx? From what I seen there's a high chance of getting a faulty board, especially with the ab350m pro4 based off reviews on newegg. The atx version of the pro4 however has lesser issues and is $75 and the x370 pro4 at is $90
  3. Depends, some manufacturers like ASRock preload their 1st gen ryzen motherboards with bios updates for ryzen 2. There's also the possibility of getting a board before they started updating for ryzen 2 tho so I would look into newer boards
  4. Well I have a gtx 1060 and I don't plan to do multi gpus for my next upgrade so think I should be fine.
  5. Tbh I knew the new CPUs were coming out but I got a deal for the 1700 for only like $200 so I pulled the trigger.
  6. @seon123 will the different chipsets effect anything regarding gaming or productivity if I have the same clock speeds on both boards?
  7. My ASRock b350 pro4 is arriving today and I just realized that ASRock has an x370 pro4 for the same price of $90 w/o mail in rebate. Is there any glaring differences between the two boards? Based on the pictures they literally look like the same board with same specifications. Btw I have the ryzen 7 1700 and I might oc but not anything higher than 3.8 (since I will not probably not change stock cooler anytime soon). 8. Enable dsr in shadowplay for 4k so GPU is used more for gaming performance. I would plan to upgrade to a new CPU cuz this set-up is kind unbalanced atm
  9. Really the best one is the cheapest one, i would just get which looks best to you at the cheapest price. Just make sure you dont get "DT" EVGA cards and you should be fine.
  10. neither if you are considering intel. I would wait for coffee lake
  11. I know it might be a drivers issue, but has anyone noticed that vega 64 actually performs WORSE in almost every dx12 application compared to gtx 1080 (according to guru3d data)? I can see why someone would buy a vega 56 since it is actually better than a 1070, but the vega 64 seems kind of pointless... like why would i buy a 450w card over a 1080 which basically performs the same (which will most likely get a price cut?). It seems more of a novelty item tbh
  12. ryzen, especially since you are rendering its a no brainer. BTW tho youcan get a ryzen 7 under 300 i believe if you look around
  13. its the monkey one i saw some in reddit complaining too: 500 Internal Server Error Sorry, something went wrong. A team of highly trained monkeys has been dispatched to deal with this situation. If you see them, send them this information as text (screenshots frighten them): APCGX7rTy0opfNK3v9GmCQHrDtpZ-wkpj0qjvpRS6opgzO5_mCGskija 72BEJW1cAPvBhwLCp1j1vHVK_NWwXwaz614D_wQeDE27crtMEvTodccf wMVlp4_G1cxwJmpWHPHYqLyTqNz3k4jDMVHjBRjjl0Mef9bUP3_Dmx8Z 9KKe4mXXp9opY4eRZBSp_nTeKFIh5MyfYnMlXOL8M7GsIgc-3Qbj-0M3 _H5sI4mUQwcjMQQTBjqhYbydt3ETxCWE9vSDZ5Qn3CfMaGPLL3pBlqTA wSCZC5QY_laB54t_veAXRtIyDHb206pmz-4sPAEN9sYnP36EvV5AjO8H EOa5vKWRCIC38rOrPBNWxdmwTg3P6EkesSUk0q4WC1UUqaLZ8gwG27Vr f-jzNPXXp7diiXakbMT5xVxTJDEfqk2pMXcqsVgsvEiXv6RrP2oIUrey YEdpBM7XYhBG3auT8ogXyPd3ZiaIVOwxlXY6sIk9_wMWK-Gfba7ovfhe 1lU6n17JeEPHo-xffUipNiHDD9gS8117XQ1lP2PTHPc-MElnv6zczdBg vKHqfdP25bS7HjKBZ36LIMiKUykQg6PNlF0x6aG9l__ggH9LCSRYGN5Y ITqwtIzFRB9_6i29v9QGH2ul8T8Q-uk4cMest8Krr5pNohAkP8Rx7_r3 cBFIgGc_ct5N6UIjakbfpqx4gqmBMf_aVkwq7xBvj5y4q6Pbw7dFehbM 67NC3ocuaGOefujsETtspXSKTtqheaHEW84RJfH_Td2bXisPu1GwbTaq 7zu5QYop6lofpAJMhws6V4f3BfoT9cJKmp8F01jVNmsRd_S4Mqk52W42 eUAQsKuHOUystmQKUV14pknNDbSUfJmkwOuke4o-Vqh_vLjPac-Q8BdK MsspDbO_uVWROBvdonT_tVtnZI9jr56FFThhIuJbXLJxL0GhHTTsg9WM nAYECJQA5pYl_bMlERNmAQJw1rXt8JNHbdIB8ZxbFoO_wvw4X2Dt_DgS 1NFpxwzmakKvbZTaeSkPKQKucM2_dmjIZ14RqRv6v-Xf54lwHkrt99ek LIwiRcS-dWFrpWCSkh-3hWbGtmannA8lFkeRIrYdtvy7ajiJK7rpYjKY 6cR9Vz03alLUQf9Fr6GCRJhJgCeeW6YHdjaRp4fM7w_9Ww40B5f102WX wgdjoWm0lgnwWIOHp-hOxToWBn50FbXtyUG98lh0sNiUCpepSvAO09UH NOLRvis91UyHJ6R-SdxV8iJHk11znTNqjq0cPH3Bw0QvvfBLRu94IMmL zODgLVyWnbDdBTVlLPmkulupc8vPuZWvFQurGldKWGeNh6ctSr6R9cV2 _ilfHS68NTi-Ezh8yUo6aIs7QKQiz8uD2KnJYgrzwKINFVGmt-WKeB3F gjU4E-g80SSCAQ_X1c4SRytfc5MVtkXJGSC1vQjVVL4CVDDyPfcK1mpf AvfV-mNqshLZRT5kjVE-cVd2YVfjLmrFHImMmDYbrw2OZODOQ0Y4b5wg EiBaGzwKrgvZHN_krYs2EwitilssMMduefZso0wxFFQhtY23LP42MeaZ Aqx0rKNNoRTEhNq1zOxtSczP32fkmbE63NtP4HRKnMUVw1ByZs9UbNuk HdqaDyfdu43sDaZihvvxTF4nv3KiMm64GqqKXMoBcHWG7nm4KirJ460c QgbgSRuK4HxnALCV5GJSfK8LksjxkyWgaDNMZA8zj2H5_VMzogzdqoKJ EqGRyllPgCSykvq5OgZPAfEMqsKt1JEVhMiHeEAh66p6uCRmcryGoB3y H-uGTwQgcMtM7_4toxBB0ZrZS7HekYn205t4tv8MjvlUA0_zsi1xituY jbgaCymeg8lCqrjIk3Ee7RwkrtiBBXoGsVljKPwkioDSUidzUD6npJNM zaWOvZZ5XK1QvOTChV_ETSwn59ADWU2muE_0LCa-VbCxIeFVaTLN9W5k NKhhHqy8olNDsb_lTG83C6SHrc284WJoj4HfanLIwoYP7qyiLMoXmEIz jWOp2s0GgJk4xSV7vpyJVTpl6BkPeMcGsd3WACQXeoCaYemNc9voeAIC oMDE2QAiDglSme_Q0r0FFxreSsvmHfC3YOPvvwhMjnHK7JgPX2qtVudx 9gXnHNG-itApKd93Vv_vIn2kXXpQ6hEL5Cu0OMl1x2XyK2EkWuv9sUJe 4pniRPtuCeJoosHlA3hboeF6TiwkflLvI9B8BrZaGWoShnMHxwsy9XXt zVot5GU3TY4gyDWElXhZo7rqRPefju5WueSiz7CcM0WzoWJD4r3zXO-i Fajg6JJFnd9OLBJMcoWFRDdr2BjdRekK8EyNFyAlQuTF-tZchtWwy5fX kNsIZYpA8IP-LbGOd_1nHFGrCogCnnryCb1xct41PYEUwvWZ22w0UZ-M ri3lspFhgOTWlNMP_PKeoK_2EjaNf_MVuwcZBIfvjpgycSzneUf4Eajd Cp5pVfSaBfDT8TPczDYyjx7RGvK2s5DMsPR99uEnl9i0NtpCttK_vfgg DOm4AfOwARsIWtttShcXrTt3mkPB0W4t3KFyBqm7qTDD74X5kmVsL85m RP4gFUDvh4LQTZagD6ll8sLq4dP7ovcNdwOTPdTXG9XQ13kmH7uQY9d8 JpLdpVEvFyHG9fSQJvEWILC8L6JVFJvXSj06kwwwMb7OyyzCpDWn0w1H nDcDDDyrJcvnFvsOZQepmvMWRVK6Nfk8n9-uMy6G4LpRwqVMD1G56Lvr vfXHs7-g8Lt2jfgbn6hGeXKJWnKEBklx6RMJqist1I-YNPWqtCLbbOhc JhaZ9SFpjZ4QGm-9zcTKAhhYsLNzeeZcc3r8u9CmXyqgZR6qdvaOz3KI 9CPSo1Hr8shkbAeCwweFGESx5LDtinwYVSafpBL6ck0_VO7rQ-q10DHf Qy-JKlVlrbIU23TwB2t07qpcugKWCGRelewkt4YyrQLloZfmmxhQXsqr IIakMzQiaABB-Ex8snoAZNcV8LQa9uLlUetV5qjKv0Qenl5k9NiYTV3J BmXzfo2BDu5eSkYG1nYZC1A5yVABFA6cYwMXSHsNrWtzUB6s4egGMMyF vlI-jN750ECyM-WeJXu6SjfJvAZ809L1IhojWUOrn9F9zWoseJkFXi_T 2XsC1XLeJEAp9JhsZN_YdPOoLYIt5mTZVkDq_jhj9N7toQjkBQn4KNIj iUDYWqJOd0LKYkOla9J8jPcOqIR4XCosGpDstVK8ZT7k2D_Tld2J0T39 kEnMRwZ1hmL6qa1PGpdLCrwuhgDdejJhTC9z2zLaADw0_J7VsZ2PMiVX 0-xzMHQWqwlEbCdpQBZXuWa0Qili2ZobMrT35sUhYAXpZBRZkKgc_nWk
  14. I dont really think this case needs fans. My mom has a passively cooled pc (except PSU) around your size and it runs fine. What are your CPU temps?
  15. if u hav an rx 480 no real reason to go with a 580 or 1060
  16. if I wanted to upgrade my CPU to something newer and better, I wouldhave to cash in $200 on a new motherboard and memory not including the CPU. Like for me example, I have a locked i5 on a locked motherboard and im planning to upgrade... but I have to now buy for at least $400 a newCPU+motherboard+ram. Lets say if I have ryzen, I would only to pay 200 +- for a CPU. If i was budget oriented, investing on ryzen would just be a cheaper investment and I wouldnt have to pinch as much pennies to get a whole new platform
  17. platform is newer and will last longer (haswell motherboards discontinued...) You get newer memory (honestly tho, does it make a difference?), and current ryzen motherboards will last till 2020 (estimating) so u r actually saving a lot of money going with ryzen. Unless there is some extremely particular reason to get a haswell i5 over an r3, ryzen ftw
  18. thats normal, games are beginning to use more cores and threads and i5s dont really have much to offer (4cores/threads(. I have an i5 too and most of the newer cpu intensive games are reaching 100% too with stuttering
  19. tbh for me at least the hype kind of died down a bit after computex basically telling us to wait 2 months but there is still hype. A bit dissapointed that there is a 99.9% chance that AMD has no 1080 ti competitors
  20. ya it aint out yet but they wil show it in a week or so
  21. i would wait for vega first, there will most likely be a variant with similar performance for cheaper
  22. Okay just be careful tho, he might have the card but you wont know until you install if its a doa or not
  23. It does seem a little too good to be true, but if OP ever decides he can always verify irl (that is, if the seller will allow him to )
  24. Yeah I would go on craiglist around your area, for example here is a 1070 for $180 in seattle https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/sop/6212089346.html Make sure if you use craiglists that you go to public places tho
