  • Biography
I'm 16 years old. I grew up in a mainly Italian family in a small-ish town in PA. For much of my life I just went with the flow, but I was always interested with the world around me. During my sophomore year of high school, I finally started to grow up and discovered a lot about myself. I found out who my real friends are and realized my love of learning. Everyday I discover some new interest which is really how I ended up here.

I plan to go to college, although I'm not sure for what or where. I do plan to study abroad, probably in Italy or Japan and maybe even live abroad one day.

Shoot for the stars but take it one step at time and remember to enjoy life. These words become truer to me every day.

    Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4?

So I've been looking around at different tablets for a little while now, and I found a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4" for a pretty good price. I have a Galaxy Note 3, so I wasn't sure if getting a mid-sized tablet is even worth it. Given that the note has a 5.7" screen, would it still be a good buy?

Good Tablet for less than $200 USD?

Yeah thanks, I was actually just looking at a MeMO Pad FHD 10

Good Tablet for less than $200 USD?

That's what I was thinking, but I didn't think I could justify the size considering I have a galaxy note 3
  5. Nothing too fancy. I'm considering getting a tablet for general use: multimedia, web browsing, some casual gaming, etc. SIM capability not necessary, will be using Wi-Fi Larger size, preferably 8.9"-10.1" Resolution that won't drive me insane seeing every single pixel Again, nothing crazy. All help is appreciated!

    What AMD's DockPort Can Do

There are benefits because it would probably be easier to implement than thunderbolt. Thunderbolt keep in mind had to be completely rooted into the system with pci-e. Also it's royalty free so manufacturers might be less reluctant. I'm interested to see where this goes.

    Cereal

Yeah it's probably because of this thread: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/113585-my-official-goodbye/ As for this topic, I actually wondered this this morning while eating cereal. But really how did most food ideas get started?

    Advantages of having multiple monitors?

I agree with everyone else. If you have the budget, go for it. It's worth it to have the second monitor there, especially while you have a game running.

    Advantages of having multiple monitors?

It depends on you use case. Do you find that you would benefit from having a second monitor?

    My official goodbye :)

I agree with you, it's one of the reasons I'm not as active as a tried to be a few months ago, but it could have been worded a bit better as not to offend an entire group that makes up a lot of the forum. I'm 16 but your right. I don't hate anime and other memes/gifs but it when they don't belong, they just clutter up the threads. Exactly. Yes, I see it every time I look around the forum and try to join in the conversation. It breaks the conversation and deters me from the thread. The only good I can see coming out of it is that if enough people point out the problem, it forces everyone to recognize it. But I agree that people shouldn't just bitch and complain, but should just point out the problem and look for a way to ameliorate it. Whereas I did find this funny, coming from a moderator it just makes a problem worse. Sorry if it sounds like I'm calling you out. This thread needs to be noticed because it does bring up a problem. The forum has lost the vibe it had when I first joined. As someone earlier pointed out, the recent topics becomes saturated with a lot of off topic nonsense that many people would rather ignore, but a lot of the time around half of them are OT. Think about people seeing the forum for the first time. They might have valuable input but after looking around, they might just leave just like some members that have been on the forum for a while.
