vimy2000's Achievements

  1. I am planning on getting a higher refreshrate monitor in the future, but for now a 60hz panel does absolutely fine
  2. I bought the z97x-ud3h-bk board a couple days ago and I ordered the cpu today.
  3. I meant to say I was going to be overclocking the i5 lol. I have the fx 6300 now and I have it at 4.3gigawats. I just purchased the i5 a couple of minutes ago and am planning on overclocking the heck out of it. -vimy
  4. I agree, get the r9 290, better preformance than 2 r9 270x's. And you could probably get away with the 500 watt psu for now, but eventually get atleast a 600 or 700 watt psu
  5. I am also planning on overclocking the heck out of it
  6. I decided to go with the i5 4690k thanks in part, to you guys. I decided to go with the i5 because although I will be doing some editing I don't feel the extra 120$ was going to be worth it to go from an i5 to an i7. Thanks all for your help! -vimy
  7. Gaming and video editing and a bit of streaming
  8. I currently have an amd fx 6300 and I was looking at getting the i5 4690k. I was wondering what the performance difference between the 2 would be. -vimy
  9. Will the difference be tangible enough the justify the $120+ premium you pay over the i5?
  10. I have a question concerning which of these 2 processors would be best for me. I am going to be doing gaming and light streaming. I am also going to be using photoshop, video editing and and a fair amount of multitasking. I am finding it hard to find a clear and concise answer about which one of these would be best for those applications. Thanks in advance, -vimy
  11. The 970 seems to be such a good deal, it has a slightly slower clock speed than a 980 but is easily overclockable to the equvilant, it just seems like a better choice from a cost stand point in my opinion
  12. I really like the way the 970 omega looks. It would also go really well with the colour of my motherboard.
