  1. I have an amd hd 7870 and it's really outdated
  2. windows 7 maximus VII hero onboard raid 4790k
  3. so I was running a 3 disk 750GB raid 5 array and i was getting low on space so i backed everything up and got speeds at about ~150MB/Second and the limiting factor was the one disk i was backing up to. i than deleted the array and started fresh. 5 disk 750GB raid 5 for a total of about 3000GB. after letting the disks initialize i moved my files back to the array and im now getting speeds of ~30MB/Second. this time the array is pinned to 100% and the single drive is aroung 15% ussage. how do i get faster speeds? windows 7 maximus VII hero onboard raid 4790k

  6. i think its 2 but it could be like up to a dozen
  7. i got this mobo like back in december and i kinda got a new one. i found a purpose for it but i would really like to have dual channel.
  8. i tried doing that and thinking id get my $$$ back but they sent it right back. something about how one of the stickers was missing
  9. i had a similar problem when i bought an EVGA 650g1. it turned out that the power supply was defected. its weird that your pc just shut off though. i would try swapping out a power supply if you have one laying around and then RMA your power supply
  10. This doesn't really go under troubleshooting but i couldn't figure out where to put it. so i kinda scratched the traces on my motherboard. i tried to put an aftermarket cooler on it and the backplate??? kinda scratched the motherboard. now channel B doesnt work. is there any way i could fix this?
  11. something may be shorting out on your motherboard. look for scratches near the ram slots
  12. i did the system restore thing and it worked. thanks
  13. it seems like its doing something. i think good
