    I have Avast free paired with MalwareBytes and it's really a great pair, you can't go wrong with them.

    I recommend Mint with the Cinnamon desktop, I have it installed on my laptop with Windows 7, and it's good for learning.

    If you want a free OS, then install your favorite Linux distro, such as Ubuntu. You can also pay a few bucks for a Windows license. We don't condone piracy here and we aren't allowed to post any download links, if that's what you're asking.

    There is an audible difference between FLACs and MP3s with the right hardware (and listeners), but MP3 is good enough for Android devices unless you're using some really good audio equipment. Keep in mind if you use really crappy MP3s (128kbps or lower), there is a very noticeable difference in quality.

    Yes, you can have all or none of your games installed and they would all stay in your library. One exception is F2P games, where it doesn't show up in your library if uninstalled, but you still "own" it. Your data is saved if the game supports cloud saving (most, if not all F2P games do). You can go to the store page of that particular game to install it again.

    Yes, I think it's worth it, and there is a way to move files from two drives, it's pretty simple too. How much RAM do you currently use when multitasking?

    Steam is a little different if you want to move a game, you just copy/move the files from point a to point b, add a directory to where you want to install the games, delete the old files, and install to that directory. It will automatically locate the files.
