  1. Build it for him. It's not that hard.
  2. Nothing really becomes outdated, it's still the same exact phone it was when you bought it. There's always going to be something newer and better.
  3. Medium is IMO the best BF4 setting, however this is completely dependent on your hardware. Doesn't look that much different than ultra while still having a big performance benefit.
  4. PETA does nothing good while they think that they are the animal savoir. They only make people feel guilty and destroy good research done on animals. A human life is superior to a single rat's life and that's not going to change. /rant
  5. I use MP3 at 320 for my phone. 256 if using crap equipment. All my music on my desktop is in FLAC. It really depends what kind of equipment you have to tell a huge difference between MP3 @ 320 and FLAC. I couldn't hear a difference on $5 Big Lots earbuds. It's clear as crystal on my HD 650s.
  6. You could try to get a student edition of an OEM key. They are around $60 AFAIK. There are also...other ways...of getting keys if you want.
  7. I thought his Facade/Ao Oni series was pretty funny. Pretty much everything else doesn't appeal to me. I much prefer UberHaxorNova and TotalBiscuit for the majority of content.
  8. Certain panels can be different types, TN and IPS are the two big ones. IPS monitors generally have better color reproduction while TN panels generally look worse. That's not to say that all TN panels look bad, in fact, my BenQ XL2420T looks amazing for TN. IPS monitors are more expensive and have some drawbacks. With TN, you get the advantage of factory 120Hz and much better response time.
  9. Pretty much anything from ASUS you feel has reasonable pricing. I agree with @Butterfish, don't cheap out on your monitor (stay around $200 USD). ASUS, Samsung, AOC, BenQ, and Acer are all excellent brands. I have had some good luck with ViewSonic on a very tight budget before.

    780 ti

780 Ti beats the Titan in gaming benchmarks, the Titan is pretty much a workstation card at this point.
  11. Decent routers float at about $150-200, it's pretty normal. I would recommend a high-end router for main, and a cheap-ish (~$75) router for an extender. Buy some Monoprice ethernet cables to bridge them for full speeds. Prices might be higher in the Philippines than here in the US, so keep that in mind.
  12. You could put one on the left side of your house and another on the right, or spread them accordingly so you can get the best possible signal.
  13. My setup is an ASUS RT-N66R (same as N66U) for the main router, and I have an ethernet cable going from the top floor to the basement leading into a Linksys E3200 to extend the wireless range. I would highly recommend the ASUS. An extender may be a good option for you if you want to spend a little extra.
  14. Do you get any video signal at all, or do the fans just spin but nothing happens?
  15. AFAIK it only works with Western Digital hard drives, I may be wrong.
  16. Try using the onboard video as an output
  17. iTunes used to destroy my system when I had two monitors. I now use Foobar2000 and I'm never looking back. Most applications however draw very little performance away, say 1-5FPS depending on game/system.
  18. I thought you meant every Audio Technica headphone
  19. I know you said not a desktop but I would honestly get a $1000 Mini-ITX system and something like a Lenovo Y500 (~$900). I have a Y500 with dual 650Ms and I love it. Very portable and powerful at the same time. If she wants to go to a LAN party, bring the desktop, If she wants to sit on the couch, Y500. It's really nice having the best of both worlds.
