  1. GTA V will run perfectly with 2 GTX 980 Tis even when maxed out (Without AA).
  2. I have a 1440p IPS 60Hz monitor and for these games you play would I recommend getting the 1080p 144Hz monitor. But if you have the budget and performance for 1440p IPS 144Hz then get that.
  3. If you want to learn that you should check out some tutorials from Youtube or something else. It took me alot to find some of these SFXs for editing but I finded them on Youtube and Google FYI.
  4. Yeah it works perfectly as long you stick to FXAA/SMAA. I'm playing GTA V with it on Very High-Ultra settings at 1440p with my overclocked and it runs pretty good however the framerate dips to 35-45 when I'm on grassy areas. I recommend upgrading your CPU btw.
  5. I've recently upgraded to an 1440p monitor today, and I love it! I always struggled when having multiple folders opened or to multitask. I'd say that its worth it. And be aware that there could exist some dead pixels or that there could be light bleed on the korean monitors
  6. Your PC is overkill for minecraft... Go and run demanding shaders in 4K, or start folding, play other games or whatever... I hope you will use your horsepower you have.
  7. I've tried it out on my Asus B85M-E a couple months ago.. Nothin worked as it should especially with the wi-fi. I've stopped it then. I might give it a shot again sometime
  8. ..Plug in new headphones? (If it would be a problem that they take it away)
  9. I'd recommend a R9 280X/280/270X. They are going to be faster than a 750 TI
  10. So, you want to be futureproof. But I never had any problems with my GTX 970 at 1440p, I just got some problems when gaming at 4K on very high settings in GTA V. But Okay then get the 980, I totally forgot this problem since I never really noticed it.
  11. I'd definitely get the Acer Predator XB270HU. However, i'm not sure about the bad qualty control etc. And about your PC, I recommend getting 2x GTX 970s instead of 1 GTX 980 for the performance-
  12. Always when I try to launch my SMS/MMS app or when I use my mobile internet then I get a crash message: Subject [CRASH] com.android.mms.service. threw java.lang.NullPointerException Content java.lang.RuntimeException: Error receiving broadcast Intent { act=android.intent.action.NEW_OUTGOING_SMS flg=0x10 (has extras) } in com.android.internal.telephony.UiccSmsController$1@a549948 at android.app.LoadedApk$ReceiverDispatcher$Args.run(LoadedApk.java:872) at android.os.Handler.handleCallback(Handler.java:739) at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:95) at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:135) at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:5254) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Native Method) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:372) at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(ZygoteInit.java:898) at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:693) Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to get length of null array at com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.SmsMessage.getSubmitPduHead(SmsMessage.java:611) at com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.SmsMessage.getSubmitPdu(SmsMessage.java:359) at com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.SmsMessage.getSubmitPdu(SmsMessage.java:486) at com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.GsmSMSDispatcher.sendText(GsmSMSDispatcher.java:187) at com.android.internal.telephony.ImsSMSDispatcher.sendText(ImsSMSDispatcher.java:275) at com.android.internal.telephony.IccSmsInterfaceManager.sendText(IccSmsInterfaceManager.java:467) at com.android.internal.telephony.UiccSmsController$1.onReceive(UiccSmsController.java:125) at android.app.LoadedApk$ReceiverDispatcher$Args.run(LoadedApk.java:862) ... 8 more I'm using Cyanogen Mod 12 on my OnePlus One. I'm using a "Sunrise" sim card.
  13. I'm curious about overclocking with the new Skylake processors
  14. I'm using my overclocked GTX 970 with an i7 4790 with my cooler master 500w PSU since a couple months and I never had problems with it.
  15. There won't be any disadvantage of 4x4GB if you don't plan to upgrade later if you already have 2x4GB in your house. (Sorry for my late reply btw)
  16. I prefer using dual channel (2x8GB) RAM instead of 4x 4GB. You wont get any advantage with Quad channel RAM with the i7 4790K. You also could add another 2 sticks in the future to get 32GB RAM. And I'd get 2x GTX 970s instead of 1 GTX 980. The rest of the build looks pretty good to me
  17. I think that green or blue would be nice (Something metallic would be nice as well)
  18. My GTX 970 got get rekt by this game when running it in 1440p... Saving up for future games
  19. I don't know much about Folding@Home but guess you're going to be Folding@Home by using your GPUs only. If so then the i5 4440 would be perfectly fine.
  20. Have you turned MSAA on? it is an FPS killer in this game. My GTX 970 don't ran the game that bad (39-61), however I just turned MSAA off and I maxed everything out. (Even the advanced tab) However I highly recommend turning some 1 step down like Grass, Post FX and to turn Advanced Distance Scaling off. To get solid 60FPS or more.
