  1. My LTT Desk Pad should arrive shortly (customs taking their time) and I was wondering if someone has already tested using Powerplay with the LTT Desk Pad on top. I know Linus did it in his going wireless vid, but AFAIK he never reported back whether it worked or not. Mainly asking because the return window on my Powerplay might close before I get the desk pad. Thanks! I will report back with an update regardless. EDIT: it works perfectly fine!
  2. Thanks. Will have another look at those. I'm looking for strictly 15" and portable enough to carry around every day on a 1 hour commute.
  3. This is exactly the kind of stuff I'm looking for, however I should have mentioned I live in Europe. Shipping from the US would be too big of a hastle (especially regarding warranty).
  4. Thanks all. Yes, he's steering towards Thinkpads, XPS models, etc. My work is not GPU heavy or anything CAD-related so Quadro's are not necessary at all. I'm often on business trips, so a gaming-oriented GPU would be great to be able to game when I get to the hotel. Main purpose is to literally get the best laptop I can without looking like Fatal1ty in a meeting.
  5. So here's the deal: I'm getting a new laptop from my employer and I'm free to suggest a few laptops. Budget is not an issue, however it has to look professional, so no RGB fireworks on the back of the screen. I'm currently looking at the MSI GS63VR 4K, 2TB model and it already is branded too "gaming" according to my employer. It can have twin titans inside for all he cares, as long as the form factor is professional. Physical requirements: - Numpad - Seperate headphones/microphone inputs - 15" Anything you guys would suggest looking at?
  6. Thank you. I will give it a try and report back here asap .
  7. I'd buy default 1/4" headphones that would fit into the 2i4's output and use the Samson C03u as an input device. I'm not sure if I can use both the 2i4 (output) as the C03U (input) since they're both separate USB devices. Thanks for the fast replies.
  8. Hi LTT, I'm looking into getting a new pair of headphones for gaming and daily browsing. I already own a Focusrite 2i4 (mainly for guitar recording) and a pair of KRK 5's. I also have a Samson C03U laying around. Is it possible to just buy a decent pair of headphones and use my 2i4 as the output and the C03u as the input device on Teamspeak or CS:GO (for example)? If I recall correctly, you can not do this within most DAW's. Or would I be better of buying a dedicated headset (like the Cloud II)? I can not test this at the moment as I'm away from my desktop for a week and would like to buy a pair of headphones before returning home. Thanks in advance!
