So there aren't a lot of cases with good front air intake. I'm wondering if radiator fans, designed for use with greater pressure would pull/push more air into the PC than max airflow, when there are air filters and slim front intake or if the pressure needs to be much higher to justify it.

Most of the time that i launch windows, the first time it will freeze, but the 2nd time without fail it will work. Also, if I leave it on the login screen and don't log in immediately, it will still freeze. I suspect that it may have to do with mozilla. That after a proper shut down, mozilla saves all my tabs and the next time i launch the computer, it immediately opens all the tabs and that causes the computer to crash. But after that crash, the 2nd time around, mozilla doesn't open all my tabs immediately and waits for me to prompt it to try to recover my previous tabs. Another weird thing that I have noticed, that I'm not sure if it is anything or not, is that the first time i windows launches, the password box isn't open; I first have to press a key to open the box, then type the password, but on my 2nd attempt, the box is usually open immediately and I can just type the password. I'm not sure why this is and if it could have anything to do with the freezing. ALso, the amount of tabs I have open that could be causing the crashes is probably 15-25.

I really love my switch pro controller and want to use it in a lot of games on PC, but the connection between it and my PC constantly drops. I'll have it plugged in and literally 12 inches from my case, and somehow steam says the device was disconnected and the blue glowing circle will be off. This happens with multiple games on steam, and I'll get the message on steam even when I'm not playing any games and the controller is just sitting on my desk. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I have a sfx PSU and a mini itx motherboard, and a NH-u12A cooler with a 158mm height. What are the smallest cases available that can also fit a full sized videocard? I currently am using a NZXT h200. Anything much smaller or do i need to shrink the CPU cooler to go much smaller?

So I can get into windows and get cam to show it, but not msi. And cam is saying its like 32 degrees. I'm thinking its probably the ram or vrms getting too hot without fans

no luck. Now the question is did i cook my gpu when i booted with no heatsink touching it.

It was previously installed

I bought an arctic accellero extreme III. Install it on my 1080ti. First problem is the card is too thick for my case. The psu shroud in my h200 is too high. So I remove the fans from the cooler. I have a sfx psu, and the shroud is ventilated and i have 2 120mm noctua fans blowing air from the front. Not ideal, but it should be ok. At least temporarily. I also decide to keep the side off for improved airflow. I boot into windows, and window is like downsized into about 1/4 my 1080p monitor. Also, booting into msi afterburner doesn't show my gpu and cam doesn't either. And maybe 10 mins in, my screen goes blank. My gut says this is far too fast to have overheating from having no fans. And it has to be a fuckup with installing the new cooler. Could this be solely from no fans?

so, the product description says 610mm for the 24pin. any idea what the standard 24pin cable length is with the sf 750? I'm using the psu right now, just have it like laying in the bottom of the case instead of bolted in because the cables are too short right now. And rather not take things apart to find out.

What case do you have?
If the other cables from your sf750 are correct length and you only need the motherboard and CPU cables, then you can buy them individually and it should be cheaper than the full kit.
Incorrect. The type 3 and type 4 motherboard 24pin connectors are different. For the SF750 they'll need the type 4.
sorry i haven't replied, i've been busy stress testing my CPU I have the NZXT H200. So mini itx, but very large mini itx. And yeah, i know i can use a larger PSU, but i wanted to get this one in case i want to move to a smaller case eventually.

bought a sf 750 psu, the atx and cpu cables are too short and I was wondering if there are extensions or if i need to buy new cables. Also corsair has this starter kit of individually wrapped cables. They're type 4, my PSU should be compatible with type 4 according to corsairs' website. Is there a way for me to make sure these are longer than the ones I got? It doesn't say mini itx on the product page, so I imagine they are longer https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L5YG1GN/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

i basically know the concept of using the tool. I don't know the process for putting everything back together.

yeah, i plan on buying the tool.

I'm planning on delidding my 8600k and just looking for a good guide. I don't want to just google the equivalent of the verge's pc building guide to learn how to delidd my cpu.

I'm Ok with using a case to make it durable as long as the phone is already on the small side, and the case doesn't interfere with wireless charging. Large battery, like at least 4000mAh,

That's OK, most of ITX motherboard RAM location is right under the heatsink cutout behind the front fan of D15.
I'm not sure i would call my motherboard's ram location typical. Because its itx and the apx power connector is to the right of the ram, there is very little space between the cpu and the ram slots. Like right now I have to rotate my Krakken x52 upside down to get it to fit. In order to also fit the radiator and fan of my evga hybrid cooler, i had to mount the fan on the outside of the case. I have the Asrock z390 phantom gaming itx/ac

Yes, correct! The RAM will be right under the heatsink cutout and behind the front fan. But the front fan still face a problem with ATX 24pin power cable right under the fan, unless you can bend the 24pin cable as much as you can to be lower than RAM height then it won't be a problem.
Anyway, what is your RAM and height?
I have 2 sticks of 16GB Ripjaws V; i think they're 42mm tall

yeah, i'll just make my roommate with her tiny hands help. Also, through my crude measurements it looks like my ram is going to fit between the cooler and the fan, So i shouldn't even need to move the fan up!

There you go! No problems to put the side panel on.
Warning!
1. Installing the D15 when motherboard has been installed in the case will give you pain in the fan installation (clipping the fans onto the heatsink).
2. Installing the D15 on the motherboard outside the case before you install the motherboard in the case will give you pain screwing the motherboard to its mounting inside the case.
Both gives same pain.
So prepare yourself and do handle with extreme care as D15 is huge and heavy and the working space is narrow.
I can say this because I faced the same problem on installing D15 inside Phanteks Evolv ITX. I think the H200 will be more difficult to work because its top of the case doesn't have as much space as the Evolv ITX has, to install the cooler fan after the motherboard has been installed inside the case. I can remove the Evolv ITX top modular fan mounts to get better access on installing the D15 fans, while NZXT H200 doesn't have roomy top section to work with.
lol, that is almost identical to what i'm planning on doing. Its very nice to see it fit. It even looks like there is room to raise the fan to give more space for ram. I have a EVGA hybrid cooler for my 1080ti and then right now i have a nzxt x52 krakken which i hope to replace with an air cooler without much cooling loss. Right now i can't get the fan on the hybrid cooler's radiator to fit since i upgraded my cpu/mobo into itx, placing the cpu pump closer to the rear fan mount. So i'm getting the H200 monday, move everything over then; and will probably get a D15 as soon as a new version with new 140mm fans comes.
-
so thats with fans, corrrect? The Specs for the D15 says 160mm without fans and 165mm with fans.
edit: ok, the D15S says 160 with fans.
-
For the H500, and 200, the cpu clearance says 165mm. Which is exactly the height of the NH-D15 with fans. So I'm curious if you can fit it in or if you really need an extra mm or two for clearance.

Just installed new cpu, mobo, and ram. Mouse and Keyboard work fine in the UEFI, but when windows loads both stop working. Any idea what could be wrong?
Would Fans designed for rads make sense for front intakes without rads?
