  3. Decent projector and not that expensive, good job LG : )
  4. I'd like the mouse, simply cuz it looks rather nice
  5. Kova white looks awesome ^^ : )
  6. are you using Windows 10 ? Latest Win 10 update required reboot and if you didnt start the updating process manually it creates a task scheduled in the middle of the night(it was 3AM in my case) so the system can update without interrupting your work. If your PC works fine(even if you dont have Win 10) there is no reason to panic.
  7. that doesnt sound good. Your mobo is probably dead. Can you test that GTX 970 on another computer ? Hope it isnt dead too..
  8. what is the manufacturer of that 600W PSU ? Just asking, even crappy no-name 600W should handle a GTX 970(at least on idle..). So can you go to BIOS or did you reset it by removing the battery ? Does anything show up on the screen ? Does system speaker beep when you turn the PC on ?
  9. @samcool55 thanks for your answer, can you tell me more about the build quality(apart from those things you mentioned)? Is the cover material durable and easy to wash ? Does it squeak when you lean back? I've noticed that Maxnomics have different rocking mechanism, which uses two handles instead of one, which may be a good thing, because I never use "rock" feature and quite often change my seat's height.
  10. Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a new chair and after doing some research I've decided I should either go for a Maxnomic Dominator or a DX-Racer D-Series. I'm 178cm/5'10" tall, 77kg/170lbs, so both chairs should be a good fit and they cost exactly the same(299 euro) + I'm a huge racing/rallying fan so having a racing style chair in my room would be very nice. I know that Maxnomic is slightly larger and has 4D adjustable armrests(Dx-Racer's are smaller and only go up and down), but some people complain about its cushions being too hard. So, which one would you pick? I'm sure there is a bunch of people here who have one of these chairs, I would love to hear your opinion: do you like your chair, is it comfortable, is it worth the price? I would like to add that I'm not interested in another "executive" chair, I've been using these for a few years now and I'm not very satisfied. Also I'm super not interested in any ergonomic chair like ergohuman or herman miller, because they're way too expensive + I dont usually sit in front of my PC for many hours straight + they're hideous. Thanks for any input. Cheers!
  11. Cool stuff, I like the Autore keyboard the most, btw. those headphones would be much cooler if they werent brown
  12. It really depends on how much you want to spend. If you're looking for "best bang for your buck" then you should go for the Logitech Driving Force GT. Yes, the force feedback on that is a bit loud and you get buttons instead of shift paddles, but it's really, really good, escpecially if you're new to sim racing. Best overall would be Logitech G27. Absolutely highest quality, great pedals, great force feedback, led rpm indicator(works in project cars, havent tested in assetto corsa). The only drawback I can think of is the lack of a proper handbrake(I play mostly Richard Burns Rally, so I have to use the handbrake quite often, but you wont need it on the track ) + the brake pedal seems to be too hard at first. Logitech wheels are compatible with most(if not all) racing games, even the older ones(RBR was released in... 2004, but its still the best rallying sim). Fanatec wheels are awesome, but also veeery expensive. Go for the G27, you wont be disappointed.
  13. here is a list of Asus motherboards with Win 10 support: http://www.asus.com/microsite/mb/Windows_10/ If your relative for some reason doesnt fancy Asus boards then just google " 'manufacturer' motherboard win 10 support". Q77, H61, H77, Z77, B85 - these chipsets(from that list) support Sandy Bridge CPU's, but obviously you should always check your CPU's revision and motherboard's CPU support list. You've probably noticed that there arent any older PXX boards on that list, so "official support" actually means that they provide you with a Win 10 driver for that Intel GPU no one ever uses. IMHO your relative's problems are more likely caused by Windows 10 itself, not an incompatible mobo.
  14. My Asus P8P67 PRO works great with 2600K @3.8GHz on Windows 10. What do you mean? I've installed Win 10 on PCs with much older mobos and it worked just fine. Obviously you wont get direct Win 10 support as this is an older socket but anything that worked fine with Win 7 or 8/8.1 should work just as good with 10.
