thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll try what gorgon said, i'll try on a PCIE bracket first and if it doesn't cause issues with paint i'll just leave it there for a weekend. Hopefully it all works out

I got the case from a PC Cafe for almost free, but the its absolutely dusty and the white color turned yellow (Probably due to smoking), even the glass is yellowish and not clear, i wanna fix this and clean it up (then use it for a NAS build) any ideas on how to proceed? What I have in mind is to just hose it down and use soap, and then soak it for a few days in h2o2, and hose it again. Any warnings or better alternatives?

If that is the case, how come the gpu wont work with 2 displays but works with each separately? this happens on both windows and linux

Hey there I wish to ask a question. Does the PCIE connection matter for display output? For example I have a gpu running in an X16 slot at x4 speeds (PCIE 3.0), I cant seem to run 1440p 240hz and 1440 165hz at the same time is this the reason? and if it is, how can I calculate the maximum I can output?

Weirdly, edge AV1 works for me, firefox also doesn't show 8K. I am installing this and i'll try again. Quick edit 2 mins later, same video (tokyo from above) now works on edge didn't try other browsers yet but idc really, 8K60. Thanks man.

Huh? that video works in 8K on edge, the videos I was testing were both of which only show as 4K on edge while 8K in chrome as you can see here (right monitor is chrome left is edge)

So I am wondering is there a way to force youtube so show the 8K option in any browsers othan than chrome? I literally use edge as my default and it doesn't show 8K, I have brave and vivaldi and they dont show 8K, I installed chrome yesterday and 8K works fine. I'm wondering if there is a way to to fix that?

How would I go around to replacing the wifi chip on this motherboard and if I replace the chip would I also need to replace the heads on the back of the motherboard? (assuming I upgrade to a Wifi 6 card). And finally would it matter if I go from intel chip to a broadcom one?

My SSD (PNY XLR8 240GB) was working perfectly fine until slightly over a month ago when write speeds became extremely low (now averaging 2.2MB/s) when i first got it, it averaged 480MB/s. My reads on the other hand are very high 500Mb/s, I've tried switching cables, switches from intel sata connector to the other one in my mobo (z77 sabertooth) i tried checking for drivers and found none and even firmwares but also none. I've also made sure its AHCI in the bios settings which it is. I've also tried reformatting windows and that only took about 28 hours and i do not know what to do anymore, i've contacted pny a month ago and all they have done is : 1 - Not reply to me 2 - Remove said product from their website here is a month old image of the AS SSD benchmark http://gyazo.com/da5f94c11fd3e90683b53ca6363b95e6i wasn't able to complete after an hour or so it so i gave up. and now i cant even properly play videos on youtube or multitask because my drive is 100% all the time. my other drives are working fine and my SSHD reaches 120Mb read/write easily so i do not think its a problem with the connectors or cables (i've switched between them with no luck). what can i do in this case?
