Unfortunately this never worked as it crashed again today . Still needing help and is really appreciated.

Ah okay how did you go around fixing this? I could try and updating all the internet and chipset drivers I suppose. Thanks

Hi I have been having an issue since I built my computer, a few months but I've been too lazy to get this fixed . So basically it occasionally crashes (once a week) for no particular reason except when I hibernate it? It also does it when I start it up type the password open chrome and there it is. The message I receive is DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL (tcpip.sys) There are some _'s in between. Anyway I did read the sticky thread on how to post and I tried to load up preformance manager but it just wasn't working because I never had access or something. I have the files from the program in that thread you can get them here : http://www.mediafire.com/download/pnz4k2pc2imncfe/SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip Computer info: Windows 8.1 x64 64bit All the components are a few months old (new) I've not reinstalled the os and would prefer not to Computer specs in my sig If anyone could help me I would really appriciate it I tried to go through the dump files and I had no idea! Thanks

MSI GTX970 PCB size problem.. (EK Waterblocks)
GTX replied to TorlvlenT's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
That's unfortunate . Can you return one of the cards and ask ( if you bought from a tech retailer ) to get a matching one?- 25 replies

At stock yes the 4790K is faster (clock speed) but they can both be overclocked. Although I would say it would be easier to get a higher oc on a 4790k. A 4790K will be fine for your needs.

5.2GHz?! Thats great! What voltage is it at? Yeah I agree 4.3 is reasonable.

Can I use these to remove thermal paste?
GTX replied to GeorgeAcres's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Yes but £2.00 shipping?! If you have eBay then... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271141754718?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Although I have just used kitchen roll in the past and honestly it was fine. -
If your going to OC the living shit out of it then yeah a Gigabyte Z97X-SOC would be best. If your not going past 4.5GHz then most people say any Z97 board will be fine. In my opinion, you should not crossfire or sli anything with a G3258K. It will bottleneck the GPU's. Although if you plan on upgrading to an i5 or above in future then you would need the feature.

Thank you but do i'm still not getting this . Do you know why it should be 8 characters long? I'm reading the article but its way above my level. I've never heard of a string argument.

Hi I'm creating a program in BlueJ (java) and I have some code my teacher gave me and never explained. I has managed to fit the code into my program but in order for me to proceed with the next step I will need to understand the code. Its only losing a mark if I don't do this but overall worth 15 marks of my grade so help is really appreciated. I unfortunately can't show you the rest of the program because that would be cheating but an explanation would really help. The code below is code which chooses a random name from an array of five names. It then displays a message to the winner. It runs the loop once. My other question is why is "%8s" being used? for(int i=0; i<1; i++) { // Generate random number 0-5 reelSpin=(int) (5*Math.random()); // Display corresponding names System.out.printf("%8s", Names[reelSpin]); } Thanks, help appreciated.

I agree, Or liquid pro. Used both and are basically same thing.

Have fun with which settings? Will max voltage not brick the card?

Hi everyone. I've got a GTX 970 ( G1 Gaming ) and am wondering how I should go about overclocking it. Can anyone give some advice please? I'm just not sure about what each settings do, which to change and whats my safe ( ish ) zone for my card. Thanks
