Funny thing, I said it was gonna get old fast and not worth the money before it came out and I got massively attacked for it on here.

MP + Bots just don't mix very well for a game to have any lasting power.

Red Orchestra is another one, it would have a much bigger player count but the servers flooded with bots just kills it.

Just uninstall Rivatuner Statistics Server and keep Afterbuner. I had this problem with BF4.
About the game: See if you can access the Mexico Origin Store, is at 12USD there. And so far I liked it, there are very skillfull dudes in PC, the parkour suff makes it more fast paced and the Titans don't ruin the game because they can be destroyed very easily.
If you liked it and have friends to play with, buy it, but see if you can buy it for less money.

Update - July 2013 - complete redo of the build based on res leaks, so got rid of the old stuff and basically a "new build" post here...

    Setup includes:
MSI Z77A-GD65 Intel Core i5 3570k 16GB (4x4) Corsair Dominator Platinum memory kit XSPC EX360 Rad (in the top) XSPC RX240 rad (in the front) XSPC Raystorm CPU Block Aquacomputer Aqualis Pro 450lm Resevois with LED port Dazmode STORM D5 variable pump Running all 7/16" ID tubing Swiftech MCW82 GPU Water block and their RAM block cover (two of these) XSPC Black Chrome compression fittings Bitspower 45 degree rotary fittings Corsair SP120 Performance Edition fans in "push/pull" setup on the top rad with matching White ring. Using the 7v down step connector Noctua NF-F12 fans in "push/pull" setup on the front rad. BitFenix Spectre Pro All White Blue LED exhaust fan Corsair AX 850 PSU, fully modular, with the optional White Braided cables NZXT Switch 810 case Feser One UV Blue Coolant mix iStarUSA 3x2 drive cage, aluminum blue handles 2 x OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD 3 x 1TB Hitachi 7200 RMP drives Bunch of other little odds and ends... Took a Dremel to the plate in the 5.25" bay and cut a bit out for airflow for the top mounted rad. I also cut out a bunch on the front panel to match the top panel. More uniformed look. Put in some white LED strips from NZXT in the base feet for some accent lighting and a blue LED strip in the roof to make things really pop when I want it to. Some UV LED strips in the case and all set.

System normally runs with most of the LED's off.

Removed all the drive cages in the case to get all the water cooling gear to fit. In order to accommodate all my drives I install an iStarUSA 3x2 drive cage - allows me two fit 3 x 3.5" drives in two 5.25" optical bays. And it has blue aluminum. Drive config is OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 120GB in RAID0 for the OS, then two 1TB Hitachi drives in RAID0 where all games are installed and a final 1TB Hitachi drive for all my temp files, swap, etc.

Temps on the CPU in high 20's to very low 30's. Have a modest 4.4Ghz overclock on. The video cards are amazing. When from a load temp of around 85-88 down to 35-38. Fantastic.

You can see a review on the reservoir I did, here.

    Main Shot:

    Some build shots...

System pulled apart, loop drained, parts ripped out, figureing out where to install the new res :)

Mount points for the new pump - notice the foam? Helps absorb vibration from the pump so it doesn't transfer to the case...

You can see here, rad mounted in the front. Now, the Switch 810 isn't specifically designed to have a rad mounted there, but it can work. I also pulled off the Corsair SP120's that were on it and replaced them with Noctua NF-F12's. You won't see these fans, and the extra static pressure should help bring down temps maybe another dregree... Also, pump and the res mounted.

Hooking everything up, get ready for leak test...

Let me just pause here and talk about leak tests... DO THEM!! When I put the res back together and mounted it, I did a basic fill test on it... and out poured water. Turns out, when I screwed the top back on, I must have twisted the glass just a bit, kinking the o-ring it sits on... and thus the res leaked... not so much leak, as in coolant came pouting out. :)

Hence, the importance of a leak test, especially with all other gear off. I did mine for 24 hours.

Now some pics of the finsihed build, powered on... sorry, using my phone cam and does leave a lot to be desired. In person the UV effect is simply amazing.

Will try and grab the wifes camera at some point and get a few better shots, esp of the UV effect...

Drive Cage 4: iStarUSA BPU-350 5x3 drive cage

    Software and Configuration:
This system is running unRaid 5rc12. It is using unRaid software raid solution which is based on a Raid 4 design with a single parity disk.
The array has 20 drives in the array with a single parity drive and the additional cache drive drive to speed up writes to the array.
All this is handled by using 4 different models of 5x3 drive cages and three additional controller cards.
None of the controller cards run RAID configs, they are simply JBOD - unRaid itself manages RAID functions.

    Usage:
I use the storage to centralize all the movies, telvision shows, music and picturres for all the systems in the house. Additionally backups of various sytems and user data is also stored on the system.
We have two media streamers, one HTPC and about 7-8 PC's all accessing the system.

    Backup:
Critical data is backed up to a secondary unit offsite.

    Additional info:
I wanted a low cost solution to provide for LOTS of storage and protection against a single drive failure. When building this unit up, I also took the opportunity to purchase 4 different 5x3 cages, which at the time, were the most talked about on the unRaid forums. I then also did reviews and comparison of the 4 units.

A butane lighter (The kind of torch shooty flame. I don't have a blowtorch or anything.) to reflow my old laptop's GPU after it burned out. Over the next 2-3 months I did this like 4 times before it finally gave out for good.

It uses about as much power as a heavily overclocked i7-990X, its gaming performance is similar to a non-overclocked sandy i5, it is compatible with new FX motherboards which means you can use USB 3 and SATA III

exactly, if the OP was runnigna single monitor for testing then plugged in a second monitor that could be why he is seeing higher idle temps, idle mode is basically disabled with multi-monitor.

But that doesn't solve the issue. His issue wasn't multimonitor. When you overclock some 7970s, the voltage down't go down to idle after overclocking, single or more monitors.

do you have two monitors connected to the card? If so the card will never fully go into Zero-Core state and idles around 50-60, the core itself has no load but the memory is still clocked at full when multiple monitors are plugged in.

Lethalviperr reacted to GPUXPert in The GTX 780 Isn't as Good of a Deal as Most People Think !
People have been getting very excited for the 780, a bit too excited to be completely honest a 780 is a cut down Titan for 650$, that seems like a hell of a deal, but in reality it isn't.
Let's look at a couple of benchmarks and see how much your paying for the performance & if it's indeed worth it or not.

For the purpose of this comparison I'll be using TechPowerUp's review & comparing the 780 to the 7970 Ghz Edition.
I won't be comparing it to the 680, because it's only a 2GB card with a narrow memory bus, while the 7970 & 780 have the same amount of VRAM & equally large memory busses.

Let's start out with the most demanding game so far, Crysis 3 :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 14.4% more performance.

    Original Crysis :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 8.6% more performance.

    Far Cry 3 :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 18.8% more performance.

    Metro 2033 :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 26.3% more performance.

    Tomb Raider :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 11.9% more performance.

    Hitman Absolution :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 26.3% more performance.

    Battlefield 3 :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 18.0% more performance.

    Assassin's Creed 3 :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 21.4% more performance.

    Sleeping Dogs :

Here you're paying 44.4% more over the 7970 Ghz for 1.2% more performance.

On average, you're paying 44.4% more for the 780 over the 7970 Ghz & only getting 18% more performance :

The purpose of this thread isn't to entice a fan war of any sort, but to remind folks not let the excitement of any launch get the better of you, the 780 seems like a good deal for 650$ only because the Titan was an awfully overpriced product at 1000$.

If you factor in overclocking the 780 will push higher numbers, but so will the other cards.
If you already have a 7970 or a 680, don't jump the gun, because you will not be getting a whole lot for your money.
