  1. So it has finally fallen in to place... I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere, but, was the original idea for the WAN show naming the "Weekly Analysis News and Knowledge" Show? Maybe I'm just reeaaaaalllllllly slow, been watching for over 2 years now...
  2. Hey that's the same as my keyboard! Also I have a slightly older model that may or may not have coffee running through its membrane....so a tesoro would do wonders for reliability and just y'know, make my desk a bit prettier!
  3. Cheers, might look more into this.... Mind you, I am in Australia so this might work out to be more expensive and time consuming ( shipping times) then just seeing if my original plan works...
  4. Haha, well that's a bit of a bugger. I was hoping to nearly set this up with minimal PC costs and just buy the HDD... Anything specific other than the Dellness of them?
  5. AFAIK the case only has room/mounting for a single drive (this IS a Dell prebuilt afterall...) from the spec sheet it seems it can mount 1 3.5" and 1 2.5", whether this is in tandem is not clear.... Cheers for the help
  6. Evening all, I am looking at building a Single Drive NAS/Storage solution for our home network. The idea for this fella came up due to my partners Macbook Pro HDD dying, and the backup externals we have, beginning to fail. My concept is to use an old Dell Optiplex 990 SFF with i3-21XX (XX because I'm not sure exactly which model it is) with integrated graphics 8GB RAM Optical Drive Integrated Intel 82579LM Ethernet capable of 10/100/1000 Mb/s The system will have a small (500GB) HDD which I would replace with a larger 2TB Drive and run FreeNAS or similar and will be connected to the router directly. My question is, is this going to work and/or be a good idea? Any thoughts or criticism are welcome!
  7. Forced to edit videos you say? Could be worse... I think the Steam link is a bit eh tbh and valve probably should've focused a little more on their steam boxes... a media centre or gaming pc in the tv cabinet does is just plain better value in my opinion.
  8. Macro for days! Definitely seen a similar concept with the stickers for AutoCAD etc
  9. Damn Switzerland, you expensive. We went for a trip from Australia over Christmas/January this year, and were blown away by how expensive EVERYTHING was there. We were completely floored by the price of food (we went to Italy first, and food is cheap as chips there) so really not surprised at how expensive the tech is....
  10. I was wondering why the vid name was odd. Then, well, I was wondering why the video cut out half way through. Then, the video name was updated. Nice semi 'blast from the past'.
  11. Out of the 3 products that Feenix are showing off here, definitely the keyboard, it is very very good looking. Also, the mouse and mousepad are both very very clean and elegant looking. Hmm, overall, I'd have to say the keyboard though, something about the all light absorbing qualities of it...
  12. Well, damn, Linus. Freaked me out man. I'd just put my laundry on, come back upstairs and watched this video. It was only 8 minutes long, but yea, you caught me! The 980Ti looks nice, but sadly not even anywhere close to my price range atm.
  13. Username: SGTR Vids: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0- Build Logs and Scrapyard Wars type vids are the best https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy- OTT Graphic Card arrangements and tests, ok!
  14. Nice Vid! I do like that the 'micro' video is still 6 and a half minutes long though Interested in Moto's range of phones, but, y'know austax.
