  1. @Trav_X @brob thanks for the advice. I'll switch to a dual fan design 1060. For the CPU however, i'll stick with the Xeon due to its reliability and I will definitely not be doing any overclocking as this is a work machine. Also the 1231v3 has basically the same performance as a non-overclocked haswell i7 while at a lower price
  2. @Trav_X How come? It'll get plenty of air in that case anyway.
  3. Hi all, could you possibly have a look at this PC list and give me some advice? It's mainly made for using the Adobe suite at work. Note the prices are in AUD and AU$1600 is the limit. Is there any other GPU that would have the same performance but cheaper? https://www.pccasegear.com/sc/q8d
  4. My friend, i have squeezed out every penny for this. This baby will do you good, run 4k easily, be futureproof for at least 4 years, and ~2k. Behold the dual 980 monster. The onlu point of upgrade i would recommend is going for an i7 in the future as it is better in video editing. 5. The two are really nice. ZOTAC hasn't really been that big in the market of the GPUs (mainly monopolized by Asus, MSI and EVGA) but I think that these new cards really bring it out as a proper competitor. The cooler is fantastic and looks good too! The triple-slot config can be space restricting, yes, however it provides extra cooling capacity and the results are just like Linus talked about (cool and quiet while under oc and load). I think these two cards will be big players in the 900 series market. In general, the 900 series is awesome. You get better performance in every way compared to it's 700 series parent and yey it IS CHEAPER OMGOMHOMGOMGOMG. Nice video Linus as well . Been watching LTT for a year and every video is fantastic. Have a nice day everyone!
  6. At the moment my eyes are mainly set on the QuickFire Rapid TKL (http://www.amazon.com/Storm-QuickFire-Rapid-Tenkeyless-Mechanical/dp/B007VDKLLM) (Witht the browns) Despite this, if there is anything else good on the market, a suggestions is EXTREMELY appreciated.
  7. Hello fellow users of this forum. My mother has been using an awful keyboard at work for quite some time and i am thinking of buying her a new one for her birthday. Would you guys please leave some suggestions of some good keyboards. The requirements are: hopefully <$100 AUD (120 AUD absolute max) Mechanical Tenkeyless with the arrow keys (basically the layout of the CM STORM Quickfire Rapid (http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/keyboards/quickfirerapidred/)) Nothing fancy shmancy, just a keyboard that works (backlight, led, fancy perks are NOT NECESSARY) and is built well Cheryy MX Browns It would be EXTREMELY appreciated if you guys could leave some suggestions down below. I have done some research into the topic but I also want to hear the opinions of you guys on this matter -----ZAKWAK-----
