  1. Found Issue, 6 pins on the CPU were folded over, at least I hope that is the issue.
  2. I know the monitor works, as its my second monitor from my main system, but yes I have tried removing the GPU and using the onboard, still nothing.
  3. HI everyone, having some no post issues. So I have built a PC, then set it up, the power button did not work, so i checked where i had it plugged in and changed it, now that works fine. but i get no display when i try to boot, so i changed the display from the gpu to the mobo gfx with both VGA and DVI and still nothing, then I double checked the CPU to make sure it was seated properly, it was. so I reset the bios (cmos) whatever it is, and made sure the mobo battery still had power, it did. But still no display. I can tell you that the PSU and mobo are both working as all fane are spinning like a tassie devil on its rags, same with the GPU fans. I also re seated the RAM with both sticks in the zero slot once at a time, and then into slot one, still nothing. the only thing I can think of is a grounding issue, so tomorrow i will take the mobo back out and re ground it, then re assemble. but before I do that does anyone have any tips?
  4. Hi, i got the bsod yesterday, so i messed around trying to fix it, someone told me to install win8 again alongside the the win8.1 i already have, so i did that and now i want to delete it, as my hdd still has around 1.3TB of steam games that i really dont want to re download. And i cannot access anything from the original OS, can anyone help?
  5. Need a GPU. also would just use an FX 6300 for $25 less, and a cheap MOBO.
  6. Yep, thats the plan. Will be using the PSU, RAM, and Case from the main one.
  7. Hi, Looking for some advice, I play a lot of Co op games with my friend, But he does not have a PC. So he comes over and uses my Laptop on a TV, we get some drinks into us and have a good old time. But the laptop is close to becoming obsolete. So I was thinking of building a second PC and upgrading my PSU to 750 80+ modular, RAM to 16Gb and getting an AMD Gigabyte R9 270X 4Gb OC to run in CrossfireX with my 2Gb, and a top ventilated case. So basically Im looking for advise on building a PC with no RAM, PSU or case for around $350 AUD or a little more If I need to. Would have to be good enough to run games like DayZ at 35 to 40 FPS. Let me know what you think.
