  1. Thanks to everyone that replied btw. I know it's a bit of a late thank you but I haven't had internet for ages now and just got it back. Thanks.
  2. Ahhhh... how to set it to download location?
  3. So I've put a new SSD in my PC and installed windows 8.1 on it but I still have my steam libraby on my other HDD. I was wondering if I could perhaps get steam to pick up the library I have on my old HDD instead of having to reinstall my whole library of 50 games with aussie net.
  4. By the looks of things the r9 290 is not too far off the 970. But I may have to wait a week or two for better drivers to release
  5. Wow I've been trying to look for a half decent graph like that for 2 hours now thanks a lot man. EDIT: Btw, I'm not too sure what the 0.1% fps thing means ?
  6. Oh yeah, I forget to mention that I'm targeting the 60fps @ 1080p range. I've also heard about this problem with AMD GPU's but with the recent beta driver it seems to have been fixed... sorta.
  7. Can I run GTA V on max/near max settings with my PC specs. CPU: i5 4690k @ 3.5 Ghz (maybe oc'd if necessary) MOBO: Gigabyte Z97X-SOC GPU: Tri-X R9 290 RAM: 8GB 1333 DDR3 SSD: Kingstone 120GB SSD COOLER: Hyper 212 Evo PSU: 650W Antec EarthWatts Bronze Windows: Windows 8.1 64Bit Retail Please for the love of god no "why didn't you get a gtx 970 ect.". ! ! ! THANKS ! ! !
  8. I am team Red: Sapphire R9 290 Edit: For me the Z97X SLI is more expensive.
  9. No, I don't know the bios of the board but maybe you can read this? http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4961#sp
  10. What does this mean? Will I have to do this on another computer?
  11. Yeah I just want the features of the z97 board and future upgrade for overclocking. Edit: Also I really don't want to overclock considering CPU's in Australia get ridiculously hot even at stock.
  12. I'm ready for the second part of upgrading my new computer and have settled on this cpu and motherboard: Intel i5 4690 - http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-4690-Processor-Cache-BX80646I54690/dp/B00JST2QEW/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1420768822&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=i5+4690 Gigabyte Z97-D3H - http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-1150-Express-Motherboard-GA-Z97-D3H/dp/B00K2RQDLQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420768902&sr=8-1&keywords=Gigabyte+Z97-D3H Just wondering if they'll work together. If not, what 2 parts will? My budget is around $450 AUD.
