  1. Thanks for catching that. I switched it to an nvme m.2 for a boot drive.
  2. The only reason i really want amd is for freesync. Since gsync monitors are crazy expensive.
  3. Planning on upgrading my rig to play doom and bf5 @1440p. I do plan on overclocking the r5 2600 as well. Any other suggestions are appreciated! prices are a bit ridiculous unfortunately. But what do I expect when i want to game in 1440 xD. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/knfq7W
  4. Planning on an entirely new build. But yes my profile has my current build. Cpu, mobo, memory, ssd, gpu, monitor, keyboard, headset I'm planning on upgrading in about a month. I'd do an Nvidia gpu but the gsync monitors are a little crazy for a 1440p 144hz ips panel.
  5. Currently in search of a decent deal on a new vega 64. I intend to use it with a new 1440p Ips 144hz monitor. Hopefully to have a decent Doom and bf1/5 framerate. I've found some vega 64s for about 510 new or 400 for a 56. I'm really hoping for a new series of amd cards before black Friday but I don't think that'll happen.
  6. Yeah, I was really hoping for ips though since I'm already paying that much I might as well get something pretty good. I might even consider 4k if the refresh rate is high enough. However for a better price I'd take the fps over resolution.
  7. I'm currently researching monitors and would like to get a 1440p 144hz ips monitor with freesync. Any suggestions are appreciated!
  8. I'm looking for recommendations on a Cherry MX Clear TKL Keyboard for under $100. I've heard they're rare switches to find. If I can't find anything with the clear switches I was looking at the CM Quickfire Rapid with brown switches instead. Possibly even put some O-ring dampeners on as well. Thoughts? Recommendations? Thank you.
  9. That's only about 47 USD lol Still would be totally worth it imo.
  10. If you want a killer wireless solution that has a thumb rest along with 11 programmable buttons and amazing battery life. The Logitech G602 is on amazon right now for $38.72 + free shipping. I've had mine for about 3 years now, and I absolutely love it, with 500+ hours on two AA batteries on endurance mode or one AA battery to reduce the weight of the mouse and cut the battery life in half. I really like the fact that it doesn't have a nonremovable battery and that I can just insert one or two rechargable AA batteries and be good to go for another 500+ hours. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Wireless-Mouse-Battery/dp/B00E4MQODC
  11. No, 2017 is the first one I put on this computer. I'll try uninstalling VS and try installing a previous version.
  12. I have installed Visual Studio 2017 on Windows 10. I am having a couple problems with VS at the moment. First, whenever I want to close VS there's a message that pops up that says "Microsoft Visual Studio has detected that an operation is blocking user input. This can be caused by an active modal dialog or a task that needs to block user interaction. Would you like to shut down anyway?". I've been trying to solve this problem for quite some time and there seems to be no solution for this from my best friend google. I suspect this first problem is creating the next issue which is that I cannot create a new project no matter the type of project even after uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing VS, and restarting the computer this has solved nothing for either of my problems. However, my previous projects will open no problem, but I cannot edit, delete, or add new code to the opened project, which I suspect is due to the first issue I'm having. Since I cannot find any solutions I'm pretty much at a dead end.
  13. FINALLY!!!!! I figured it out. http://www.technicalnotes.org/fix-cannot-delete-error-while-deleting-key/ Followed the instructions exactly, and it worked! The first site I tried following must have not been using the correct commands. Edit: The commands were the same, so I'm not sure why it didn't work the first time.
  14. "Cannot delete SQMLogger: Error while deleting key." That's what happens, I figured if the Super admin account has unrestricted access using the cmd line so I thought that would work better than the old fashioned way.
