  1. Hi, first, I would be happiert than anyone could ever imagine. Then, I would buy an X99-Mainboard, memory and a cooler that works on 2011-3 and have my first enthusiast-grade platform. Greeting, Alex
  2. Hey, the Kühler 1250 is actually pretty cool - it is a very interesting thermal design. Tank you Antec and @LinusTech for making this possible ;-)
  3. What are the benchamrks you tested?
  4. Guys, that's a really big problem! Can noone help me?!?!?!?!
  5. I want the CARD!!! And: I would prefer the AMP! Extreme, because of its very cool lighting. :-)
  6. Not really good IDLE temps. With my Acer Travelmate, I am IDLEing at about 50°C. - And the TDP of my i3-3110M is 10W higher than the TDP of your Core 2 Duo P7350.
  7. Is that IDLE or under load? If it's IDLE, then use Prime95 for pushing the CPU, otherwise this would be VERY good temps for a notebook.
  8. You may download CPUID HWMonitor quickly?
  9. I would not open a notebook, because of the risk of avoiding your warranty. On some laptops, you can switch the storage drive without breaking the factory seal, but I can't imagine a laptop without this seal over the motherboard unit. And may I ask you, what your temperatures are?
  10. Probably in certain games ( Watch Dogs), but for other games (e.g. Crysis, Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider), it doen't matter at all.
  11. I bought my i5 4460 for ~160€, you do not even have to switch your mainboard.
  12. What about a PCIe card? Costs about 30€ and is solid. NOTE: If you want to boot from a card, it may take longer, because the PCIe card has to start first. And look for PCIe x4 cards, not x1, because PCIe x1 has only 5 GBit/s.
  13. If you don't have any possibilties to sell your GTX 660 Ti, buy another one for SLI. But you could wait until the GTX 960 comes up and then sell your current GFX (maybe 80$?), the GTX 960 will probably be priced sub 200$.
