But i looked back into my credit card statement and it is present on there. I will follow these instructions and proceed with the RMA (IT SAYS UNALTERED CREDIT CARD STATEMENT IS FINE) AND EXACTLY 2 MINUTES AFTER I GET THIS REPLY -NOTE I HAVENT EVEN SENT THEM ANYTHING YET July 02, 2014 11:27 AM Randall B SteelSeries Support · Hello Mohammed, Unfortunately your RMA has been declined. Reasons we have declined your RMA may include: 1) There is no remaining manufacturer warranty for this product. 2) You are unable to provide a valid proof of purchase in an image format as requested (jpeg, bmp, png) 3) You no longer have the product and/or are unable to ship the product as part of the RMA process. 4) There is no defect and/or the damage or failure mode is not covered under the Manufacturer warranty. This includes but is not limited to: accidental damage, pet damage, electrical surges, general discomfort, etc... 5) You purchased second-hand or at a fire-sale style website (ie. Ebay, 1saleAday, woot.com). The reason for this is SteelSeries Manufacturer Warranty is non-transferable. We do not honor manufacturer warranty for products purchased second-hand or refurbished. We are unable to proceed with an RMA for this product and your ticket is now closed. For more information on the RMA process and warranty information, please visit: http://faq.steelseries.com/categories/RMA/ Please do not create a follow-up to this ticket as this decision is final. Thanks for your understanding. Best regards, Randall B SteelSeries Support Can someone please explain why they just boned me? i havent even given them any of the info yet and they are already telling me "do not create a follow-up to this ticket as this decision is final. Thanks for your understanding." What understanding? Can i get a phone number please?
  4. im more worried about my bandwidth than hdd space tbh =[
  5. Seriously though thats ridiculous is it so poorly compressed/optimized? what do? I have GTA4 and Skyrim and those total about 30gb in total....
  6. Note: small business - home office Calling all bookkeepers and accountants and geeks I have been trying to setup one copy of quickbooks for two different computers to use it simultaneously, WITHOUT have to buy Intuit's extra add on. So far i have to backup and restore the backup file everytime between the two computers if i want to move the data or keep it updated on both (one computer is mine, and one is my boss's) Intuit forums allow 1 license to be used on 2 computers but will only work if you buy their add on which allows the program to view data files over the network which costs a dumb amount of money... Is there any way to bypass this? The only solution ive found online is people building their own NAS and server which unfortunately is not an option for me and my boss. I have currently installed the software in a shared folder within the network. it still doesnt work (im not surprised but its really the only thing i could come up with) Is what i want even possible? Thanks.
  7. I uninstalled AMD Catalyst 14.4 with all its drivers and the pink problem is gone...
  8. UPDATE ACER 1 (my current monitor) = has the pink problem AOC Monitor = does not have the pink problem ACER 2 (my brothers identical monitor) = has the pink problem If i use this AMD Cleanup Utility, will it delete my motherboard drivers as well? since it is an AMD 890FXa chipset?
  9. Yea i am going to try a different monitor tomorrow to see maybe if this old thing is finally dying checked, seems fine If i rollback drivers it would go back to 13.9 ? only reason i updated was because bf4 wouldnt run on 13.9 (thats a whole other topic. just bought it today and it crashes in the first 5 seconds) All color settings everywhere are at default. i never messed with those
  10. Today I updated my AMD driver from 13.9 to 14.4 However I launched chrome and now the menu bars and bookmark bar are slightly pink - when regularly they should be the default grey gradient And then went on to find out that the same color (grey/gradient) is slightly pink all over windows as well. The whites and other colours show up just fine. but only the grey gradient is now pink. No idea why this has happened but im assuming its because of the driver update My monitor settings have remained constant. no changes My windows colors and themes are stock with no changes Even in the AMD control center it shows all the color settings as default with no changes UPDATE: it seems that the attached screenshot looks fine on all other monitors and devices...but the pink hue only exists on my pc...my monitors setting are still what they were before the AMD update UPDATE 2: the attached screenshot has all the pink areas highlighted. these areas are usually grey or grey gradient by default in Win7... 11. This asus laptop seems to be a great value http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231521 AMD A-Series A10-5750M (2.50GHz) 8GB Memory 750GB HDD AMD Radeon HD 8670M 2GB 1920 x 1080 lets say this laptop did not have a dedicated gpu. would simple apu only laptops benefit from faster ram? 1. Do OEM laptop motherboards even support faster memory? 2. Would upgrading the stock 1600mhz ram to higher speed ram yield better gaming performance? - (i know this is true for desktops but does the same translate to laptops?) 3. Is it safe to run faster memory in a non-"gaming" laptop?
