  1. GTX 960 ($200+tax) Corsair CX430 ($39+tax) on newegg (look for these parts and prices in local stores to avoid shipping costs) your cpu is rated at 65watts and a gtx 960 will consume 200w max should be good to run at medium-high settings and your HDD is "good enough", just dont run any other demanding applications while gaming of course things can ge improved but with that budget i dont see other options atm hopefully someone else in the forum can find you some better deals
  2. you must have paid USD Check your credit card statement
  3. oh nice, i didnt know they were carrying it HOWEVER...its the same price $70 after tax i guess NCIX is passing on the full shipping cost to us i really like the audio quality of my siberia v2 so i was hoping to just get an add on mic for cheap. but for $70 i might has well invest in a new headset. or look into cheaper mic-only alternatives our dollar is so weak
  4. I was interested in this product to slap onto my siberia v2 since the mic stopped working HOWEVER on Massdrop this little thing totals to $71 CAD after shipping, taxes and the exchange rate..... Any Canadian deals around? this is too expensive

Please let me know what can be done to run centered timings
  8. so i maxed out settings i cant tell if battlefield is crashing because of the overclock or because its battlefield.... will test with more games....
  9. I have a Sapphire Vapor-X 5870 OC 1GB Stock Core: 875mhz Stock Memory: 1250mhz Idle temps 36'C Load temps: 68'C Can i simply max out the sliders so its Core: +25mhz = 900mhz Memory: + 50mhz = 1300Mhz Its only a 25 and 50 mhz increase on both, so it feels safe.... I know the alternative is to properly overclock with voltages but ive never done that before and dont really feel comfortable doing that now But even more importantly i dont want to brick my card Im okay with leaving the card how it is But i'm curious to know if this is a good idea or bad
  10. Why does this series use either-or? Is there any way of identifying which V300 series SSD uses synchronous and asynchronous NAND flash?
  11. I agree i've been a big fan of crucial's new MX100 series. I'm bringing up Kingston because its still cheaper by about $10 Thanks
  12. I remember this was a really significant issue where performance was reduced substantially http://www.anandtech.com/show/7763/an-update-to-kingston-ssdnow-v300-a-switch-to-slower-micron-nand FastForwards Few months, now, I see people recommending these SSD's once again Is it because Kingston started using better NAND Flash again or.... ?

  18. Didnt know SuperSampling has been available all this time Can i do it on my 5870? want to do it for games like borderlands 2 (to begin with) edit. sry i meant downsampling ? (same thing?) the game only uses 200-300 mb of video ram. i have 1gb so i want to run at a higher res and then downsample, can i do it?
  19. Originally purchased Steelseries Siberia V2s but the mic stopped working, so i needed a new headset with a mic Yesterday I purchased a refurbished Corsair 1300 Analog headset from NCIX for $33 I figured if it retails for $80 they must be half decent sounding but I also accepted the fact that something might not be right with them (first time buying a refurb product) brought them home and surely something was not right 1. the volume was extremely low, i would have to crank the windows volume all the way up to hear anything 2. there is NO bass...at all. Literally nothing in the low end took it back to NCIX, made them listen to it. and surely enough they said it was just me. they said the bass was fine...and refused to give me a refund or even exchange them for an ever cheaper headset ( i originally wanted a Corsair Raptor LH2) [1] Are refurbished units supposed to be this shit? or is the 1300 itself a really shit headset? [2] Will corsair be able to RMA this? factory reconditioned headsets have a 3 month warranty
