  1. One faithful day (that I regret in hindsight), I decided to splurge my cash on Amazon and buy a bunch of water cooling parts for my crap-tastic PC, cause why in the world not? My PC was an Intel G3258 clocked at 4.0 GHz and a GTX 750ti. Stupid. Temps after running Prime95 for 20 minutes on air cooling averaged around 80 degrees Celsius. Not great, but it was the Intel stock cooler after all. So after 2 days of drilling holes to fit oversized screws, forcibly wedging undersized tubing into barb fittings and half-hazardly flushing my loop, I've finally turned my previous pile of air cooled garbage: Into this majestic beauty: Safe to say, I look edgy and was half-blinded by the UV-reactive coolant inside the tubes. So how's the thermal performance you wonder? Well...... Despite a 20 degree Celsius reduction in heat output, overclocking that little bitch still was fruitless. I've gained a total of 0.1 GHz overclock on that stupid CPU, and my Overwatch still stutters ? God bless me and Ryzen here I come.

  3. Try and get a " k " series processor, in case he needs to overclock in the future he can just purchase an all-in-one cooler from Cooler Master for about 40 Euros and further increase the performance.. Just don't overclock when you are using the stock Intel fan, it may just short it's life-span.
  4. While I'm too lazy to do some currency conversions and scavenge the internet for some cheap random parts, I'd recommend these parts : CPU = Intel Pentium G3258 Motherboard = Anything Graphics Card = Nvidia GTX 750 TI Ram = HyperX Memory ( Either 4 GB or 8 GB ) Storage = Western Digital Caviar ( Blue or Black, your preference, 512 GB ) Power Supply = Corsair 500 Watt The Case can be anything of your choice. Hopefully this list will not even exceed 500 Euros, feel free to get some better GPU if you have more spare cash.
