Show off your old and retro computer parts
biggiebigs123 replied to TheTechnerd's topic in General Discussion
Yes the PII cartridge, i used to have one lying around but it got thrown away. -
I am running old hardware like 45nm old, but i got it all for next to nothing so i am happy, but i wish i could up grade. The core 2 quad q8200 works well with basic applications but modern gaming, like GTAV is barely playable at mid to low, it's not how much you paid ,but how long it last i would say 7 years and still running is good.

Please help! When powering pc on it keeps shutting down.
biggiebigs123 replied to Iamraymondjames's topic in Troubleshooting
Do you hear beeping, it sound like a motherboard problem, try resetting the ram then if that does not work unplug the power cable then hold down the power button, then look for the clear cmos header or button then re try with one stick of ram at a time. -

Using a NUC for Twitch Streaming?
biggiebigs123 replied to Tyrannosaur's topic in General Discussion
I think the nuc would be overkill for twitch look at the zotac pico that would be perfect and it is really cheap but for game streaming i would go for the nuc. -
Buying an emachine from back in the day

I got my hp stream 7 today and it's awesome!! For a system that only has a gig of ram it is really snappy and smooth even 4k on YouTube was good at around 25-30 fps I think this tablet is a tech's best friend obviously you can't game on this tablet but for a hundred dollars its great. Does any one ells have one ? How do you like it.

Yea i sorta thought that as well but it was worth mention, though the case is large enough to add a lot of upgrades which is always a plus.
