  1. I have that exact model and I uses a dual link DVI to hook it up. Use the dual link DVI that came in the box as I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that will allow you to reach 144hz with this monitor aswell.
  2. Yeah I know the EVGA ones aren't that bad but I wanted to add more of a uniqueness to the build. I guess I'll see how the cables look first before buying custom ones. Thanks!
  3. I don't think I'll need any in my build? Maybe one for the SSD?
  4. So I have this so far: http://i.imgur.com/3jFh2sR.png What would the Molex to SATA be used for, and the same with Molex?
  5. Hi guys, I'm thinking of ordering a PexonPC PSU extension set, but I'm not sure which options to select and how many of each option to use. Can any of you guys help me if I link my part list below and the options from the website. Part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/4gs3jX // Website Options: http://pexonpcs.co.uk/products/psu-extension-sets Thanks a lot!
  6. I'll be studying Computing, Business, Maths and English Lit.
  7. I want to know if I will need a laptop for when I go to college. If I do then I'll buy a laptop instead of a new PC.
  8. I've done a part list that I can afford with SLI 970s, I'll have to buy an aftermarket CPU cooler when I can afford it - this is literally the limit of my budget: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/g7V9FT I can't find any blue RAM that I like the look of, though. I would of bought the 27" for that price, it's only 2" difference which you will get used to overtime.
  9. Dell are releasing a 1440p monitor with ultra slim bezels that looks pretty good soon. I was almost tempted but they're just too expensive. If I did get a 970 I'd only end up spending the money I save on shit like an RGB keyboard. I'd rather put the money into a slightly better GPU then a flashing keyboard. There isn't really a 970 that I like the look of, either.
  10. When is the 390x release date? I prefer Nvidia cards to AMD as they run cooler and I think look better. I like the idea of two 970s, but they're really overkill considering I'm getting a 60Hz 1080p monitor. I'm thinking of getting another 980 and a 4k monitor next year when they're cheaper.
  11. I don't have the cash for two 970s atm, and would rather get another 980 next year and a 4K monitor. I switched the powersupply, I did think that I added the G2 but evidently didn't. Thanks!
  12. Hello guys, I'm planning on a major upgrade for Christmas and have put this part list together. I'm going to be gaming mainly, and watching YouTube videos. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/smallie/saved/whqWGX How is it?
  13. I'm thinking of getting two of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-K242HLd-inch-Monitor-100M/dp/B00HVYBU6Q/ref=sr_1_35?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1417971877&sr=1-35&keywords=monitor Would I need to buy any extra leads or anything?
  14. If I were to buy a 980 what connection would I need to make sure my monitors has? I want to buy two monitors, but I'm not sure what connections to look for.
  15. I'm definately not going to overclock at first, what's the performance difference between and overclocked i7 and a non overclocked exon?
