  1. Got up this morning. Turned on PC and it shut it's self down after a minute. RIP Pump. It's reporting 0RPM in the BIOS and when I touch it there's no vibration. It's dead Jim...
  2. Right. Oh its started twittering now. Really doesnt like the 12v one bit. Might leave one fan unplugged and put it back on a PWM header. Doubt it will get RMA'd as its over 2 years old now.
  3. Attached is the sound. I have just downsized from a full sized corsair 750D case to the 400c. In doing this I bought some new case fans however my gigabyte motherboard (gigabyte ga-970a-ud3p) only has two PWM headers. I used to plug the pump into a PWM header, even though it only requires 3 pins, to avoid this noise its made since purchase. However now I dont have any (Already splitting both 4 pins already) Its making the attached buzzing noise. Constantly. It seems to only do it at 12v, which is strange as this was the voltage it was designed for. Anyone have any solutions? I can't find anywhere in the bios to lower the voltage on the SYS_FAN2 header. My previous Asrock motherboard allowed this... DM670011.MP3
  4. Hi, I'm, and have been for a while, searching for a mouse for my desktop setup. Now if only it was that simple. To start with I'm left handed. So first requirement is that the mouse has to be ambidextrous. My second requirement is that the mouse also has to be wireless. Then the final requirement, a rare one, is that the mouse has to also be rechargeable, either by docking or usb cable. My question to you lot is: Does such a product exist? (PS I'm looking to buy through Amazon) Thanks
  5. Ok, thanks, I'll keep you in mind.
  6. (Currency = UK). I live in england to be more specific
  7. That just seems like allot to spend. I could afford a £200 + card... but, like i said it just seems allot to spend...
  8. Hi, I currently have this GPU installed Asus 1GB HD7790 http://www.amazon.co.uk/HD7790-DC2OC-1GD5-Radeon-GDDR5-128-bit-Express/dp/B00E9PWELA/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1436304689&sr=8-6&keywords=7790 I'm thinking of purchasing the below gpu and my budget is around £100 Asus R9-270X http://www.amazon.co.uk/R9270X-DC2T-2GD5-1120Mhz-2048MB-Express-Graphics/dp/B00FRU9P9U/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1436304606&sr=8-20&keywords=r9 It has double the ram, better bit rate 256 over 128 and slightly higher clock speeds. The reason I'm doing this is because I'm a software/game developer and need to power but also a gamer myself and as of current this card doesn't seem to handle GTA V well. (I'm sure it isnt my CPU as thats a FX6300). I have a dual screen setup and want to ask the following questions. Is this upgrade worth the money? Is there a better alternative for the same money? Would it be possible to crossfire the new gpu with the current? If so would there be a performance increase, or decrease? What's your thoughts?
  9. Actually turned out to be a glitch or bug with packard bell where booting to a display other than expected resolution 1366x768 causes this issue. Tested after everything was repaired. May also have something to do with refresh rate too.
  10. Thanks soooo much. Yep a simple re-flash and updating of the BIOS solved this issue. Now I just need a replacement LCD panel and it will be as good as new. Hopefully they'll learn a lesson from this. Patience for 5 minutes saves 5 hours of messing around and £50.
  11. That looks like it. I'll give it ago and see what comes of it. Hopefully It will solve the problem. Thanks! I know the current bios version is like 2.02 and the latest here is 2.09. Lets see what happens.
  12. Some differences: AMD Quad-Core A4-5000 AMD Radeon HD 8330 4GB DDR3
