    Does the graphics amplifier even make sense, with the 1060 and the fact that 6700hq may bottleneck future desktop GPUs? I'll wait for the price in my country, then decide

    As regards the CPU, I'm still in doubt because I don't need an i7. It'll all depend on amazon.it's black friday sales and how much money I'll have to spend by then! My other option would be a 6600K, but I'm a bit scared by laptop's OCing. And as regards bios/vbios, this site offers to install Prema Vbios AND Prema Bios. I'm a bit confused, all I wanted to know is if I can install(flash) it on my own later. POLISH CLEVO STORE

    on a site from netherlands called laptopplus, they ship to Italy with a really good shipping cost (25€). So basically, I can flash the bios (are there differences between "bios" and "vbios"? I saw that a polish site offers these 2 options...) and everything's good, regardless of ram/hdd/cpu ecc? Thank you both, I hoped you'd answer

    Hello everyone. I have the chance to purchase a Clevo P751DM2-G with gtx1060 barebone at ~1100€. I'd buy the CPU by myself (probably a 6400, maybe 6500) and pair it with 2x8GB of RAM and the combo SSD-HDD from my old laptop. Then (when I have the money ) maybe add a pci-e m.2 ssd. Does anyone know how it performs? Thermals? Noise? I don't care about battery life and weight, it will operate while plugged in 99% of the time. I've heard (in this forum) about Prema bios: what is it? Is it so necessary? Can you install it aftewards? Thank you

    Sorry if I piggyback your thread, but I have the same problem...Dell's Italian website has updated its inspiron 7000 "gaming" lineup from the 7559 to 7566, but it's exactly the same laptop! Only exterior changes!     Oops sorry, I wasn't clear. I mean, what would you do (considering that I can't go over my budget)? Would you wait for 1050 or it would be wasted time? BTW thank you very much for your answers
