Hey Guys As a long time follower of this community, I was wondering if anyone has been affected by the fires in northern Alberta. My brother, girlfriend and pets got out safely last night barley beating the fires out of town. We think our house has gone up. And i know with so many loosing much more than me, this may seem strange to many but i wanted to post some pictures of the build i have been working on for a few years here. I hope that anyone else reading this who was affected is safe.

I recently installed water blocks on my 2 asus r9 290x's and went ahead and overclocked them. I put a very conservative overclock of 100mhz to bring the clock to 1.1ghz. Since i have done this twice now i have run bench marks and seen values that you would expect from a chromebook. Its fine when i restart the system as the benchmark scores go back to their regular values but i find the sudden drop in performance worrying. There is no overheating or throttling. I just wondered if anyone had any idea what was going on? Thanks

Hi there. I recently picked up 3 Benq 2720z's for my productivity/gaming pc. I bought 2 in a bundle and another from a store. It was reduced as it had previously been sent back the the manufacturer for repair. Now the colors on the two i bought in the bundle are similar enough but the one i bought form the store has a much yellower color to it. I have reset all the monitors and have tried to dial it in using settings. I have read around and it seems that exact color matching is rare. I just wanted to ask here as I wanted to know if people with eyefinity/surround setups fully accept that the colors on their screens wont match and its just a fact of the setup or if there many be something wrong with the panel.

Ive just bought 2 120mm noctua static pressure fans to help cool my 2xR9 290x's. Im using AI Suite 3 to control fan speeds. Is there anyway to use AI suite or another program to set fan speeds according to GPU temps.

Hi there first time on the forums but i thought id come on as i had a few questions. I've been a PC gamer for years but always played on laptops and dell desktops. I've just built my first system and got the bug. My specs are: Intel 4790k ASUS Maximus Hero VI H100i Cooler 4x 4GB 1866HZ Corsair Vengeance RAM 2x R9 290x ROG Matrix Platinum Corsair AX860i PSU All inside a corsair Vengeance C70 case. My question relates to my graphics cards. I know that not all games scale the same using crossfire but i wanted to know if it was possible to bench your pc only using 1 card even with both plugged in. Or maybe remove the power to the second card. Will that damage my system? With the crossfire enabled I first fired up BF4 all ultra V-Sync off and got a steady 110 fps dropping as low as 88 and rising as high as 160. Does that sound normal or are there some more settings im unaware of that would increase my performance. Any replies would be appreciated thanks guy
