yeah, I am looking at old boxes and what i could potentially use, I was thinking use my EVGA 1000w P2 box and use the cloth bags they came with to store cables and potential kits, and  then buy a CD organizer and put the CDs in that way

You can shove all the games over as after a restart steam can auto detect the locations of all the games again (Like it did for me and 5 friends)

drag and drop the folder and go to steam settings and add the folder on the new hard drive to the list of folders to look for games

Go into Steam Settings and add a Steam directory to the new drive, then you should be able to simply cut+paste the Steam folder from the existing drive over to the new drive and Steam should automatically recognize the new game locations and adjust accordingly.

So i just added LED's to my case (They are RGB, but a previous thread recommended that i use white). And i would like to know what you guys think! i tried to position them so i dont get the white dots on my window and yeah im gonna do something about those rainbow cables lol

I have AMD (R9 290 Sapphire OC) in my main system, Nvidia in my older system that I have passed down to my brother (GTX770). 
 
Neither Catalyst nor Geforce are my favorite, personally do not use any of the features, but both work flawlessly on those systems with windows 10 installed. I did hit a snag with my R9 290 in windows 10 after upgrade, GPU driver was hanging unexpectedly while loading some sites, nothing major. Did a clean windows 10 install after the upgrade, and no issues since... 
 
Also, Windows 10 is fairly new, so expect crashes regardless what you run... 

have you considered the r9 390? The Vram could help in 3D design (im not sure what programs you're using) but also AMD cards are always much higher in compute performance than Nvidia's consumer cards.  It also is priced between the 970/980 and performs as such

that's why I go around recommending an AMD solution because this is the greatest year for PC builders.  Prices are plummeting due to all the new releases and you can get some strong hardware for cheap and the 750ti no longer a viable budget card unless your just have a very low wattage power supply that cant support something stronger

I actually took a leap of faith and bought a used R9 270 for $100 off craigslist. There is very little dust on the card, and it's been placed in all of the original packaging. Even the little stoppers for the display outputs are there, too. I trusted it because he was willing to meet at his workplace, lol. So I know where he works!!! But srsly I won't know if it works or not 'til I get my mobo, ssd, and ramn which should be this month. I'm debating exchanging the psu that I bought for a more powerful one for overclocking, but we shall see. Wish me luck! Thanks for all the tips!

1. your eyes really will never see the difference of 4k and 1440p at the 2ft you sit from your monitor (on large TV's this is a different story)
2. 4k is extremely demanding for minimal gains
3. 1440p monitors are cheaper and much easier to run so your games will be like butter on max settings

Anything 200 series amd, I got my 280x for $100 new so just look and you will find a good deal

straight up, you could overclock your 750ti balls to the wall and not come close to the 270/270x.  One tip, look on pcpartpicker.com and you can easily find like 600W power supplies for the same price as a 450 and it gives you overclock room (as you stated you would like to try).  And I personally owned the msi 270x and that thing played battlefield on ultra like butter when overclocked.  The 750ti is not worth it as a budget card anymore as the price of much stronger amd cards have started to fall into its range, or you could easily pick up an r9 280 for like $150-160 with all the sales on them.  I see why you would consider the 750ti but I urge you to look beyond that, maybe just $20, even check refurbished and you could have a ton more 'bang for your buck'

I started writing this guy mainly for the top section, to denounce misinformation people seem to have regarding vRAM and its relation to memory bandwidth, but I figured I might as well just go the full mile and explain as best I can about what most people need to know about GPU memory anyway. If I've somehow screwed up somewhere, let me know. I probably have. I'll fix whatever I get wrong. And thank you to everyone who has contributed and corrected things I didn't get right! Unlike my SLI guide, much of the information here was confirmed post-writing.

the conflict here is you have a McDonalds scheme going on here with that red/ yellow accent thing going on. unless you plan on putting cheeseburgers in your pc I don't think you can do much. LEDs should always be white to make the rest of the colors pop out a bit. For cables I would say first decide on if you want to keep it with either red or yellow, I doubt you want to switch out perfectly working parts just for color (some of us have myself included) but if you happen to I would say switch out the ram for either black or yellow sticks (cheaper than a new GPU) and get yellow wires or keep the ram and GPU and get black extensions.

I saw my girlfriend when i got my job at the local grocery store.  I was working down on lane 17 and i see this absolutely beautiful woman down on register 1 (she was miserable to be on express but this didnt take away from her beauty).  So be me, i was deathly terrified of women after my ex girlfriend basically played me for 7 months then broke up with me and convinced me that it was my fault, for me to later find out she was cheating on another guy with me, but anyway, i decided that this girl was amazing.  It took me actually 6 months to say hi to her, and then another 2 to get her phone number, and then i one night when talking to her said that if we were going to be friends i felt that it was best that she knew how i felt so that if she didnt feel the same she wouldn't get weird vibes from me (basically she would understand that its because i like her).  And at first she said she thinks its better if we stay friends. Next day she texts me and i feel awful thinking that i just made our friendship completely awkward because she saw me as her best friend who had helped her through so much, and i basically put that on the line the night before.  Well she texts me and we talk and she says that deep down she feels the same and that she would like to give it a try.  So we plan a date to the movies and i get my first kiss (senior in highschool, i am currently a freshman in college) and fast forward 7 months and here i am, no longer lonely and with a beautiful woman! Shockingly enough she doesnt mind the computer, my nerdiness or my gaming lol.  Shes a country kind of girl with a free spirit and is quite sassy on occasion.  TBH idk how i landed a woman like her but man i could not be happier
