I don't get how a fan can use 20+ watts. are you 'avin a giggle der m8? It's more like 0.2 amps per fan. But no, don't use it, what's the point?

They're awfully heavy Ever considered a MacBook Air, Surface Pro 3 or MacBook Pro? I know they're not for gaming, but a heavy laptop is always a bad thing when you're lugging it about all day.

Are you after something like Steam Mover (don't worry, it works with normal programs as well as Steam Games) -
Nah, you can boot it off an installation memory stick, just select "Try Ubuntu"

Boot up into Ubuntu and try again with their disk management. You could also take the drive out of it's enclosure and then plug it directly into the SATA ports in your computer.

I'd imagine that it would be better because it has it's own discrete remote and it doesn't rely on a WiFi connection (idk, could be dodgy) but it also costs more, so there's a tradeoff there.

Can you not assign a drive letter or format and then assign a drive letter? (right click on the drive)

I wouldn't call a bungalow a "Large House in a prime location" Besides, about the whole struggling to eat thing, there are people struggling to eat everywhere, most of them because they lack restraint. If your job doesn't pay enough, resign and go on benefits. If you're struggling to pay the food bill, go to a food bank or claim working tax credit. I don't like Elric myself, but capitalism.
