  1. kk then, how about this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/KT3Zqs The mouse is really good by the way unless you want one with one and a half bajillion buttons on it
  2. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/vg4dJx It's better to do a good job of it now; I know there's no 1TB HDD or anything, but this will perform significantly better than the other one. If you don't care for overclocking, we can do a much better job here too, we'd have enough for a HDD and then some left over
  3. Y U NO LIKE Scan.co.uk? Also, for £1000, you can get a rig with a 970 in it
  4. I would go for a 1.5v kit, but that will cost more. It should be compatible though.
  5. The cheapest z97 motherboard that you can get which will fit with your colour scheme EDIT: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-z97-g45-gaming-intel-z97-s1150-ddr3-pcie-30-%28x16%29-2-way-sli-3-way-crossfirex-d-sub-dvi-d-hdmi-at ALSO: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigabyte-ga-z97x-sli-intel-z97-s1150-ddr3-pcie-30-%28x16%29-2-way-sli-2-way-crossfirex-d-sub-dvi-hdmi-at
  6. The box one comes with a CPU cooler and a sticker There is no point in buying a tray one unless you are buying in bulk
  7. Yeah; how far away are you gonna be from it? My rule of thumb - please take with a grain of salt: <60cm - 19" 1m - 21-24" 1.25m - 24" 1.5m - 27" This will prevent you from feeling sick after extended use About the recent 150$ post, I'd go for: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-G246HL-Abd-24-Inch-LED-Lit/dp/B0098Y77OG/ I sit about a metre away from it and find it perfect
  8. Well, it's small but for general usage, it's fine. Depends how far away you are from it
  9. "Masturbated with the only 24-core Intel i9" Well, could be worse
  10. This will just create a serious amount of wear on the battery I'm also sceptical that a Micro USB port can take 5 amps
  11. I would only grab a sound card if you are dissatisfied with your current situation. For example, my motherboard sound gets interference from my graphics card. I got a sound card and it's fine now.
  12. www.man.ac.uk www.cam.ac.uk www.york.ac.uk Have a look at these top institutions and see if it's worth it.
  13. The hotter one seems to be running at a higher frequency Maybe you got a better result in the silicon lottery on that one.
  14. I find a drop or two of vodka does the job too. All you really need is something which is a solvent.
  15. It's not a trap if you're not stupid. Come on dude, you can't be forced to enter your credit card details...
  16. Clear the CMOS dude, then it will be solved hopefully
  17. I'd just go for the cheapest one which fits your colour scheme
  18. haha, however, they will see the effects.
  19. Hard drives dying is more of a thing than an SSD wearing out generally; especially with nice SSDs. Office work never requires a lot of writing to the disk, so it should be fine for longer. Also, time is money, and waiting less time is more money. Plus, the computer will seem better to the employee so they will feel more inclined to work harder
  20. I'd go Intel (i3) because power is a thing Why not go for DDR3-1600 or 1333? Does it really need a separate hard drive? Why does it need extra fans? Soundcard? Why? WiFi - all proper offices have wired networks. EDIT: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/22q499 Consumes less power Will last longer Better monitor Windows 7 Professional - sets a good vibe to prospective customers Optical drive - you need one for an office PC; what if someone brings in a DVD? It completes the package Professional case Nice SSD
  21. If you don't use the invite Ill have it I would wait for the Nexus to be honest. Not just because of a code, but it will be faster and, well, it's a nexus
  22. Dude, just re-insert your windows installation disk and hit "repair" If not, simply re-install Windows
