  1. i said that because I haven't just had this issue with the case i've had many issues. I see a lot of people recommending the case, that's why i bought it. I am going with the corsair 750d now and going to get a new water cooler as there might be something up with this one. I'm measuring my temps through the realtemp application. also i doubt the pump is failing built this 2 weeks ago so it's very new. Although thats a possibility. I really don't care much about over clocking though as my comp runs any game on 1080p on ultra and i only game with this. I just want the CPU to stay cool.
  2. the issue has been verified as the case. I beg all of you DO NOT BUY A NZXT H440 WORST CASE EVER. I am going to replace the case as this case has been nothing but headaches. TEMPERATURES WITH THE FRONT/TOP PANEL ON THE NZXT H440 ------------------ 41 40 39 40 98 97 100 93 TEMPERATURES WITHOUT THE FRONT/TOP PANEL OF THE NZXT H440 ------ 31 30 29 28 71 77 78 80 none
  3. I have verified that it is making contact with the processor.
  4. please don't go with an h440 i hate it sooo much. i have been running my system for 2 weeks and have overheating issues with it do not use it for water cooling.
  5. Hello, So I have a nzxt h440 which i guess isn't the best for water cooling. here is my specs: Intel core I7-4790K running at 4.0ghz 16GB DDR3 1866 RAM Corsair H105 w/2 Noctua NF12 FANS 3 NF12 FANS IN FRONT AND 1 IN REAR 2 GTX 970's Arctic MX-2 Thermal Paste So I am getting under no load an average temp of 40 C. Under 99.8% load Im getting extreme temps of 93-100 C. Im using realtemp to test this. My average room temp is 78-79 degrees. I live in south florida were it is usually hot all day i don't know if this has something to do with it. So any guesses of what's going on here? Should I say goodbye to watercooling and just get a noctua cpu fan? I don't really want to change the case out as I like the look but i will if i have 2 I have around a $300 budget to get my CPU as cool as possible so please give me recommendations. The h105 is installed at the top of case. I will appreciate any assistance. Thanks, GallioneIT
  6. I ordered the black but it wont be here until tuesday and I want to game this weekend so I want to get a hard drive from a local retailer.
  7. Hello, So I just built my gaming rig which is over $2500 and I have a ssd and a terrible hitachi 7200rpm 64mb 2tb hdd. I bought the Hitachi off ebay for $70 to help save money but turns out it is a piece of crap. The problem im having is whenever I try to download games off steam onto it steam stops downloading and says disk is busy. I read up on this and it is my Hitachi drive that is the problem. I can also hear it making noises so that is also a bad sign. So I'm going to order a western digital black but in the meantime I need a hard drive to put my games on. I was going to go to best buy tomorrow to get this hard drive. Do you think I will have any issues with this? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-mainstream-1tb-internal-serial-ata-hard-drive-for-desktops/9312067.p?id=1219011388237&skuId=9312067&st=internal%20hard%20drive&cp=1&lp=12 Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place i didnt know where to post it. I appreciate any responses. Thanks, GallioneIT
  8. I personally like water cooling, many others may disagree with me. I would go with a H100 or a H110 (if your case can fit it).
  9. Hello, I am located in: Florida, USA My budget is: $2900 This PC will be used for: Gaming (mostly), web development, and programming I have a 2TB Hard drive already and a Razer Naga Mouse so please don't comment about there being no hard drive or mouse. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pfvLbv Please let me know what you think. I decided to expand my budget from $2500 to $2900 because I want DDR4 and an Intel i7 5820k. This build will be used in the future for 4k gaming but for now I'm sticking at 1080p until January. I basically want a future proof gaming pc. This will be used for a little web development and programming but nothing heavy duty. Thanks, GallioneIT
  10. also one more question on pcpartpicker at the bottom it says something about a voltage problem for the ram. it says 2400 is 1.65 and it wants it to be 1.5, is this something to worry about?
  11. What do you think about this power supply? its 850w for extra power and is still pretty cheap. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438018
