  1. Hey Everyone, My PC has the following PSU: EVGA 700 GD 700W 80+ Gold Would this power supply be enough to run a RTX 3080? Other PC specs below: Motherboard H370 AORUS (4x DDR4) (2x M.2 NVMe) CPU Intel Core i7-9700 RAM 16GB DDR4 2666Mhz Storage 500GB NVMe SSD + 2TB HDD Thanks
  2. Hi Everyone, My Acer XB271hu can overclock to 165hz from 144hz. Just wondering if it's worth it? It says overclockable on the box so i'm assuming it wont have a significant impact on it's lifespan. Have a Rtx 2070 super so some games should be able to reach 165fps. Thanks.
  3. Hi Everyone, I'm currently looking to improve the Wifi situation in my House. Details: My plan is 1000/500 mbps. I live in a double storey roughly 290m2 household. All devices have wifi ac minimum. Unable to Run Ethernet cables between both floors. Only the top Floor has a Port for the Router. So i'm trying to decide weather to purchase a single ASUS ROG GT-AX11000 unit or 2x ASUS RT-AC5300 in a Ai Mesh Setup - buying 2 RT-AC5300's ends up being $100 cheaper but they don't have wifi 6. Any help would be much appreciated. Please also feel free to leave suggestions for any other routers below. (PS. I'm just looking to get the highest speed wifi for my situation - not concerned about getting 100% of my plan via wifi since my internet is free anyway) Thanks.
  4. Not too concerned about budget atm. ISP provides a modem which is required for voip. Not sure what WebUi is - sorry not that technical but if you refering to the modem config page then yeah it's able to be accessed.
  5. Hi everyone, Just looking for suggestions for how to setup my home network. My plan is 1000/500 mbps. I live in a double storey roughly 290m2 household. All devices have wifi ac minimum. I'm looking to get as much speed over wifi to make use of my plan. Also need enough range to cover the whole property. Does anyone have any recommendations on what routers/setup to use. Note: I know ethernet is better and ethernet capable devices are sorted - just want to optimise the house for speedy wifi aswell. Thanks.
  6. Fingers crossed it's going to be ok lol just bought a RTX 2070 and Xbox just announce a few hours ago that the Series X will have 16gb in total
  7. Isn't Vram used to load in texture? Eg. Higher quality texures use more Vram.
  8. Hi Everyone, I was just wondering, with the next gen consoles (eg. Xbox Series X) having 10+gb of Vram on board. Will the lower capacity of Vram on higher end cards eg. RTX 2070 and 2080 Super (which both have 8gb) get bottlenecked once developers start making use of the extra memory? Thanks
  9. It's weird because games use the Gtx 1660ti when booted up. It's showing High framerates on the fps counter. But the actual refresh rate of the monitor stays at 60hz ?
  10. Hi There, I have a Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52 which has a GTX 1660ti and a 144hz 1080p panel (It literally has a sticker on the display saying so), However I've noticed for some reason it seems to be running at 60hz with no ability to change to 144hz (Screenshots attached below). There is also no options on the Nvidia control panel to adjust the refresh rate/ display settings either only 3D settings available. Just wondering if anyone here has a solution to this. Thanks.
  11. To clarify i'm looking for a 27 inch IPS pannel at 4k or 1440p
  12. Hi, Have the Gtx 970 atm but thats not really a concern because i'll be upgrading. Just want to know what display to get first and build the PC accordingly
  13. Hi there, I'm currently shopping around for a good 27 inch Monitor but I can't decice whether to get one at 4k or 1440p. I'm looking to also connect consoles (PS4 and Xbox One X) to it aswell as a PC. I've heard that 4k is better in terms of scaling for consoles while 1440p is better in terms of scaling for windows. Just wondering what everyone here would recommend
  14. Hey everyone, I've been using my Xbox 360 controller + wireless adaptor to play on PC. (I use K/M as well depending on the game) Should I upgrade to the New Xbox One S controller? I'm not sure if it's significantly better or just a minor upgrade. Those textured grips have my interest (mostly because I get sweaty palms when playing for awhile). Thanks.
