I've been generally thinking of upgrading my headphones anyway but as I was stretching out the cable (coiled cables suck!) broke inside, anyway I'm thinking I'd like something a little better but I do like the comfort factor and I do enjoy the sound from these, So for upgrade suggestions I need some help, I'm looking to spend between £100-300 on something decent that will last me a while because to be fair these DT990s are tough I can't count the amount of times I've dropped them. Here's some options I'm considering. HD600 - I'm aware these are more neutral Not totally sure Philips Fidelio X2 HD6XX - Seen these on ebay for £225 Buy it now, sealed not sure what's the difference compared to the HD600 Any suggestions? Regarding your comment on wireless headphones and not going to replace my expensive headphones just so I don't have to carry a dongle around but that is why I have an S8 instead.

I'd make sure you're getting the refresh rate in games as sometimes it doesn't always work, You should notice it's smother in general not just in games. Probably because you're getting more FPS you could use vsync to limit your FPS or turn some settings up, input lag wise it's quite a bit noticeable for most. unless you can't stand the tearing I'd avoid using vsync but thats me..

Can definitely see the appeal but the whole carrier exclusivity is bs.

That's annoying but I imagine signs designed for use with automated vehicles could overcome this problem but then new signs alone is another issue.
