mach got a reaction from Mr.Nelf in Kaspersky files an antitrust lawsuit to EU and Russia against Microsoft for keeping users safe with Windows Defender
I agree that the title is very biased.
Blocking softwares from pushing their own notification, while Windows itself can freely slam me in the face with it's god damn fucking fullscreen notification telling me to update, is just hypocritical.
I don't know how Kaspersky works but I believe my nod32 would still function to scan and clean after the license expires. It just won't update the virus database. That means I'm still protected from older viruses.

If not faulty or defected, they'll most likely get repacked as close to unopened as possible, and of course sold as new.
It's naive to think all returns becomes B-stock.
In countries where everyone can freely return stuff. "I'd just return it." seems a very natural thing to say, right? Even LTT ordered computers, did a review and returned the gears. Think of the sheer amount of stuff get returned but do you see tons of B-stock and open-box deals around?
This easy return rule is a double edge sword. Very convenient to consumer but the down side is your "brand new" stuff is probably slightly used, unless it's a immensely popular item or a pre-order.

Too bad they got rid of the dual battery in the new versions.

Shit as big as facebook can kind of manipulate public opinion by serving the users news articles etc. of their choice, a great propaganda tool essentially
Plus government want your data too. Perhaps more than anyone else!
It's never a government's interest to protect your privacy you know...

Are you going to ship by air? Have you estimated the weight and get a quote from the courier/ postal service? Because the result could shock you.
A full system and monitor...It's gonna be damn expensive. Unless they have special meanings to you, are you sure it's not going to be cheaper to just sell and then rebuy some of the bulkier parts in your country?

I'd say take the storage (hdd or ssd) with you unless you don't care the content on them.

I'd imagine the shipping cost to be at least a few hundred dollars.
Parts like the case, cooler, psu or even the monitor. They are the "cheaper" parts in the system but really heavy. Also they risk getting damaged on the way.
I'd seriously do the math and think it through.

A monitor is surprisingly heavy ?
My 27 inch monitor is 7.3 kg on it's own. With it's original box that's ~10 kg. His own packaging is gonna be more than that. (to safely ship it)
I put in the rough number on some online freight estimator and that 10 kg box alone would easily costs $300+ to ship.

I just randomly googled an cost calculator to get a ballpark number.
That could vary a lot that's why I suggested OP to ask for a real quote before making the decision.

In what kind of workload/games would the 8700k be bottlenecking a 2080 ti?
I have the impression that if I choose reasonable graphic settings in modern games the gpu would always be the limiting factor. Even with high refresh rate monitors.
I am rocking a 6700 with my 2080 but I'm not seeing any bottleneck. I really want to dump intel and go ryzen but can't justify buying new CPU+ motherboard when the current ones are working fine.

I use PIA. I did a scan with NOD32 but found nothing. A malwarebyte scan spotted a trojan file but it's way too old to be the one they claimed.
But using my own VPN router seems to be a great idea!
Since I'm not knowledgeable enough to find out what slips through I guess it's better to be sure!

Yes I know what a dac means and it's importance. That's why I have a high end dac in my audio system. What I wanted to say is we don't know the performance of other components in the chain (analog stage). Creative doesn't provide any data regarding the actual analog output. Simply stating 122dB of the dac chip doesn't guarantee good sound.

Some people are talking like graphics cards are meant to be used to game only, mining with them is somehow morally wrong. Don't we all have freedom to do whatever we want with our hardware? If miners can preorder them why can't you?

to be honest who "need" to do 32bit audio?
Even 24bit music is a niche in a niche. Many audiophiles don't care about anything above 16 bit. Those who do probably will get something serious, not this RGB gaming-branded gadget.
